Started a project which I regret taking but gotta continue now...
Herculined the wheel well for a cleaner look.

Broke a few clips from the fender flares... need to get a new flare now.

Also, discovered some rust behind the felt panel area... lined over it cause I doubt the truck will outlive the fender.

Definitely gonna half ass the passenger side holy hell. Too much effort for this.

The word "performance" is in it's title....has to add at least bazillion HP.....
Well heck, then.
That probably came on all the 2019's and was deleted the spring of 2022, right?

I buckled and purchased an awning. I found the 23Zero that is 62” wide - perfect for the Prinsu. Quality seems good and they are priced right between the Amazon brands and ARB.

Pic was just to shake it down, I can do better at blocking the sun than that. Also need a wall for more versatility.

Forgive my ignorance...why? What does it change/fix/do?
Keeps oil from egr recirculation into intake manifold and causing build up on valves.

after killing the windshield i walked away for the night. but friday night i installed a new camera system for dash and off road. running all the wires was a hooker. fish tape helped. its one of those smart mirror things. i like it so far. changed the oil. mobil 1 of course. long wobble extension on the filter socket made removing and replacing the oil filter very easy.

Those fender clips are ignorant. I knew they were there, used the proper tool, was very careful and still managed to break one. Actually, worse than breaking a clip, I broke the fender trim itself where the clip attaches. Not only a terrible design using those clips, but making the clips stringer than the fender trim is a worse design. The clips should be the soft point, so they break and can be replaced easily, not the painted finish trim. I was lucky it was the clip closest to the screw at the end, so it should have adequate support when it goes back on, and it's getting flares over top so it won't be seen anyway.

Good job on the herculiner, are you leaving the soft liners off and wanted to balck it out in there, or just adding protection under the liner?

I super glued some of the tabs back on but the flare seems a little loose. Not going to bother with it for now but totally agree, no idea why those clips are so beefy compared to the flare itself.

The soft liners cover a lot of... edges and gaps from ford and must stay, I'll say that much. I always had intention of keeping them cause of that. I did however apply the herculiner over them.

Main reason I did this was for a cleaner look, but since I've used herculiner in the past.. The protection is nice.

The passenger side I got lazy on; I kept the liner in place, but shoved the flaps back.

Yes I sprayed it over the liners. Darken them up and reduce crap from sticking to the felt.

I'm going to use the roll on version for my rocker panels. Hell with all headache I dealt with using the spray can.

EDIT - adding photo after a little heat. wrinkles have almost entirely vanished. 10/10, would do again!

I installed a full leather interior in my XLT today. Also added heated seat pads. I ran wiring for the heated seats, but am waiting on the new switch fascia (thinking I'll install there - wasn't seeing anywhere else that would look clean). Photos are immediately after install. will give feedback once they've sat in the sun a few days - i suspect they'll tighten up and lose the few wrinkles they have.

Whole process was around 8-9 hours.
edit: oh - i also changed my cabin air filter :)

Changed the oil and rotated the tires.
I learned that with the recently installed level kit, when it's up on the ramps I have to stand on something to reach the oil fill. I'm 6'1''.

500 for the seat cover set, $40 or so on hogrings, tools, nice gear wrench loppers, $100 on heated seat kits, $100 on the Lightforce fascia I’m still awaiting. Not too bad.

Built and installed my Melipron rack, bought a used rooftop tent, and did a full synthetic Mobil 1 oil change. Y’all were not joking when you said that oil filter was difficult to access!

After reading about the spark plug horror stories, I figured I better get an engine cover. I figured I’d go with the Jcr Offroad cover instead of the Ford cover since they’re essentially the same price. I guess I’d rather pay that much for steel instead of plastic. Pretty ridiculous that it’s even necessary.
