Cleaned a nice big chunk of frozen schmeg out of the catch can. I'll be happy when the nicer weather hits and I can get this thing off my truck. Great idea in theory, but not the best IRL.
Now idk if this would actually work or not, but could you install a drain hose to the bottom of the can and let the can drip as you drive? Only reason why I ask is because my Harley has an air cleaner breather tube that has a hose with a filter on the end. The filter on the end could be swapped with a catch can if I wanted.Yes, winter gas in Canada will fill the can over the course of a single tankful, primarily water/gas mix. Summer gas yields next to nothing over several tankful's. Plus the hoses are cracking and will need to be returned to stock. Like I said, solid theory with poor execution.

Thought about that, but I think it would lead to problems with unmetered air coming in, vacuum leaks etc.
It’s FKN water ….condensate is supposed to be blown through the intake……Loose the can …
I thought of that but then I thought UPR has a dual valve CC that connects to the air intake. Wouldn’t that be introducing air directly?
I don't know and to be honest I cant wait to remove this thing. I wish I hadn't put it on the truck in the first place, and I will not be researching other CC options. Going back to stock and take my chances with valvetrain issues.
There is a reason my 84 Civic is called Rover, it does that on flat pavement. This picture was with the narrow (225) r-comps on the car and before I got the front camber plates. With the 255s for the front and the camber kit it would lift even more and there were reports from corner workers on the course of the car pulling both inside wheels up, if true I wish I had a picture of that.Looks like fun!

You can't easily see where the hoses go, it's kinda behind the LF wheel just inside the frame rails. Nightmare job. If you are thinking about one, my advice is to reconsider your position. The hoses haven't made it to their first birthday on the truck and are failing. It's not worth the aggravation.
