I was leasing a 2019 GTI S Manual that I really loved, but I really regretted leasing it versus purchasing it. When the 0/84 deal came out and the Ford dealer said they'd eat my lease, I jumped on it. Really miss rowing my own gears, but otherwise am very satisfied with my purchase so far.

(That's the wife's '19 Beetle Final Edition. The GTI was an impulse buy lease when we bought the Bug.)

Unfortunately, I did trade it in. There was a sweet deal on a 2019 Ranger FX4 supercrew that I couldn't pass and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of find a buyer. Dealer offered me $1500 and I walked out without looking back. He called me back the next day and I got $4000 for it. Not bad for an 18 year old truck but whoever buys it will get a great truck!

Did the same thing, traded a 16 ST3, same as you, loved the car but just didn't fit the bill. Do miss the handling and manual transmission.

Coming from a 2005 Ford Sport Trac that was pretty reliable with 95000 mostly trouble free mileage/ I didn't really trade it it was passed on to a family member This 19 Ranger just looked awesome I just hope it holds up ...we shall see

4k is good trade price. you did better than I thought tough not to take 4 grand ..

I do a lot of dirt road driving, so I ended up swapping my wife a lot of the time to use her Subaru. It got to the point where the ST wasn't practical for me. Besides the fact that I just liked to put it through its paces and was just waiting to get nabbed some day for it. The Ranger is fun to drive so far, and will be much more versatile. I'm not planning on doing anything radical to it. Bedliner, splashguards, seatcovers. Might try my hand at tinting the front windows(I have the SuperCab).

Traded 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn for a Ranger. I’m glad I made the trade. I’m saving money on fuel averaging 12 mpg before. Easier to handle and clean. Oh yeah and I can fit into a parking space now.

nice longhorn! they are cool trucks but they are massive to park day after day!!you will soon be laughing at trucks hanging out or double parked .

2013 honda crv.........only thing i miss is the sound system, damn it sounded good. but in all fairness the ford synch 3 reckonnizes every format i put on a thumb drive.......sound is decent but will be addressed at some point.
