2009 BMW M3 sedan with 55k miles. I loved the power but I don’t miss it in the Ranger. So much utility and I don’t worry about anything breaking.

I replaced a 2012 Chevy Avalanche. I kept hoping that Chevy would bring the Avalanche back, but (sigh) I had to give up waiting. Loved the ability to drop the midgate and even remove the back window to haul big things. Even the roof rack came in handy for hauling our 14.5’ kayak. This Ranger is the first Ford for me. I’m adjusting to the change...must admit, it’s nice to have a little smaller truck

Replacing a 2011 Ranger xlt, and
that replaced a 1990 Ranger

10 years seems to be a popular time for these.

I had my 2001 for 10 years.

I had my 1995 (purchased in 1999) prior.

Escape 3 years. Focus ST 5 years Ranger, now.

It's going to be trucks from here on out.

Nope. It was mine. I liked the new Ranger, though, and found myself leaving work in the field and going into our office and the Ranger fit the bill for me in size for my commute and capability for whatever else we wanted to do. My missus also likes its size better. Easier for her 5' self to be comfortable in it and not worry about its size when she is driving it.

Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Loved that critter. Super comfy and tough. 4500 lb towing capacity. But just too little cargo space. Had an F150 before the kids came along, then went through two minivans as they grew up. Thought the Jeep and a trailer would work when the nest emptied, but nope, needed a truck and trailer for our do-stuff lifestyle and grandkids. F150 would have been too much, Ranger SuperCrew is perfect.

Replaced 2016 ST3, as much as I loved this car and as fun as it was to drive I just missed having a truck and sitting up higher. Also haven't visited some places because the FoST simply wouldn't make it.

I'm replacing my 2007 Toyota Yaris.
Bought it new in late 2006.

I did love that car. It saw me through a few interstate moves, camping trips, an oil crisis that had gas stupid high, and a ton of daily commuiting. I did some dumb mods on it when I was young, but it was solid.

So, while everyone here is praising the small size of the ranger, I'm adjusting to the massive size increase

I replaced my 2001 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4. I loved that truck but it was time. It only had 113k miles on it and ran great and looked great but I wanted a smaller truck with all the bells and whistles.

How I feel about getting rid of the 2015 Mustang. Still miss it, but the truck is where I belong.
