There's been some nice and valued cars and trucks traded.....

Short story, I traded a 2017 Tacoma DC SB 4X4 for my new Ranger.

Long story, the new wore off really quickly on the 17 Taco and though I tried I could never get to loving it. I wanted to at least look at a Ranger but at the time they were new on the lots and the dealers wanted top dollar so I actually traded for a 10 Sport Trac. I loved that but found some rust and as my wife pointed out, it is 10 years old and V8. I was always being reminded about it's gas consumption. So Dec 24th the Sport Trac was traded for the Ranger which I am loving.

Replaced my '03 Level II Ranger. Here's a pic of both trucks. Honestly, while I'm happy w my new ranger I also miss the old one everyday. It just felt more like a real small truck. I don't miss it trying to vibrate to pieces on the highway, or the rusted through bed, or rattling engine. But I do miss the feel of an older truck. I felt it was better off road as well, which is funny considering the tech on my new FX4. Of course that could just be that the stock Hankooks are garbage (they are).

tdlr, love my new truck but still miss my OG ranger. Someday when I have the space I want to pickup another old truck and build it for off road.

I traded two vehicles for the Ranger. A 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and a 2006 F-350 SRW Diesel FX-4 supercab.

Didn't trade it in but I have to sell my 2006 GTO that has less than 17k miles. Hate to part with it but I need 4wd more than a garage queen. I'm keeping the '08 Foose F-150 but the Ranger will be my daily driver now.

I replaced my Prius, after my teenager said it was too small in the back seat for a couple hours drive to Madison with his two brothers. But that Prius was a work truck in camouflage. It pulled a small trailer with 65 bundles of shingles 9 miles no problem. And the no rust '88 Ranger STX that I bought in the interim was to "Boomer" for them to get into

I replaced my 2003 Ranger Edge 2x4. After 17 years, it was about time. It was slow, didn't get good gas mileage, had the tow package so it had the limited slip differential so I didn't have a turn radius. On the good side, there was no rust, I could reach into the truck bed from the side of the truck, and it still ran (although it needed work) when I sold it. Glad I did. This new Ranger is like a luxury vehicle compared to my old truck.

Hi Antonio

A little UBI.....Chrome Yellow was the most expensive color to paint...Bean Counters wanted to drop the color...I stood firm on keeping it..

Thanks. I had a touch up kit for the color, so my guess is that it took more coats and time in the booth; the touch up paint was really thin on one coat.

I traded out of my 2017 F150 Supercrew and my 2019 Mustang performance pack. Needed to consolidate to one vehicle, and the Ranger was perfect for my wants / needs.

I sure hope you had seat covers on them. Considering your screen name and all. :giggle:

So you didn't pay anything, did you?
I did have to throw in some cash. It worked out well, but it only works once as I only have 1 vehicle now.
