Update: My truck was made in the same factory as the recall, but three days after the recall period. Ford has denied recall coverage, but is working on some kind of financial compensation for a potential repair. Not sure what that would look like.
Ford has also suggested reaching out to the...
Thanks for the detailed reply!
I kind of doubt it's off road damage, since I am not into off roading (apart from on my dirt bike) and have not taken the truck offroad except for getting to trailheads and parking for races in years. But it's possible that it got caught on something or a rock...
I do not have a lot of time since it's sitting on the dealer lot, and I go on vacation for a week saturday. But I was basically going to do the same with QD cleaner. Good tip on the deoxit though. THere is a carquest in town that carries a lot of specialty items, I'll see if they stock it.
Hello Everyone,
2019 Ranger XLT
Starting about a week ago I started getting a blue screen for my back up camera. I thought no big deal, I need to clean the connections, and of course put it off (mistake #1, should have prioritized).
Yesterday, my car will not start at all, or more accurately...
Hey all,
I gotta haul about 2 cord of firewood in my 5' bed this weekend which is going to take a looot of trips. I'm gonna build some wooden bed rails so that a bit more volume. First instinct was to build some simple stake rails as seen below but then i remembered.. this truck doesn't have...
tire mount and balance free from tire rack (if you buy the wheels from them) and I put them on the truck myself. I think 20-30 per tire mounted is standard
Ended up going with the stock steelies and I'm really happy with how they look. Broke up the black/blue colorway of the truck that I was never a huge fan of. Glad to get the extra sidewalls over the 18s as well. 265/75/16 no rubbing stock suspension.
Still waiting on center caps
Thanks guys. Seems like the "refurbished" black steelies are now out of stock, and the ones from BBwheels and Detroit wheels have gone wayyy up in price ($175 for a steelie from BB!). I've decided to just go with the silver stock steelies from tirerack for $70 a piece. I'll paint them if the...
Following this. Been looking for black steelies for a minute but they seem hard to come by. Only place I've found is charging $125/ea which is way too much for a plain steelie IMO.
Hey guys its not a secret spot by any means so I can share Copicut road in Freetown state forest. Please keep off the motorcycle trails
In central MA there is Old County road and N. Ashburnham Rd. in Ashburnham. You can explore from there. Again try not to widen any moto or quad...
Thanks! It was fun, lots of great riding out there.
The Gas Gas is awesome. Amazing in the fast stuff and on the track and not far behind my yz250x in tight single track. Going four stroke after years of two strokes was a bit of an adjustment but the 350 feels like the perfect size.
So after my long ordeal with the Ranch cap that was never actually ordered by the dealer before my trip, I ended up picking up a softopper on my way though Boulder, CO and sleeping in it for the majority of a 6 week trip through the southwest. Although it was a bit chilly on colder nights, I am...
I can't answer for loading it, though I suspect it will be ok. As for having the rear tire on the gate, you will be fine. I know they're a lot lighter, but I've had 2 dirt bikes and a pit bike loaded in my truck with no issues. Well within the weight limits.
Oh man, that could work! It's black or magnetic gray? Send me a PM with some pics and asking price? Was just about to order a softopper and pick it up when I passed through Boulder!
