Thanks so much Tracy! Mrs. DukeCanBuildit is an incredible cook and baker and would make desserts like this regularly. She made this same pie a couple of years ago asked me if I could make her the same one this Thanksgiving. The bar was pretty high and I didn’t want to disappoint. I took a piece to my Mom (another great baker) and she loved it, so I guess I’m in charge of pumpkin pie now. ?

Next year, I’m considering Sweet Potato Pie instead of pumpkin. Whaddya think?

Thanks Mark. I bought it hoping I could step up my pizza game and I’m so happy I did. It’s a lot of fun and the pizzas are really something. The dough is made from scratch and the ingredients can be as simple or as fancy as we want.

I’m happy with a classic Margherita but Mrs. DukeCanBuildit’s favourite is duck leg confit with carmalized onions and sliced fig. It’s a lot of work but she’s definitely worth it. ?

Squirrel. Grandson shot a squirrel, so…. If you kill it, eat it. Right??‍ Have to say, I make a mean squirrel meal in my air fryer.? Word of advice…you really need more than one squirrel to feed three people. ?

My mother-in-law cooked it in some peas when we first got married. I didn’t like it at all.?But, I told my grandson that if he killed anything, he would have to eat it. Anyway, after they cleaned it, I put some cherry cola rub on it with some salt & pepper & air fried it. Very tiny pieces. It was really good, surprisingly.

ok-anyone else a lil surprised that our Tracy not only eats but cooks squirrel ?! I mean yes if you kill it eat. im down with that. and well, im kinda redneck texan so no problem eating all sorts of critters.
