2013 Mustang GT CA Special. Ordering a Ranger Lariat FX2 Supercab in February 2020
Today, actually just a few minutes ago I placed my order for a 2020 2wd Ranger Lariat Supercab at Autonation Ford in Torrance CA.
Details;
White Platinum Tricoat
Med. stone interior
FX2 package
Technology package
Tow package

Now the wait begins. They say they should get a vin number in 1 to 2 weeks.
Expect build date between April 6th and April 13th.
Delivery 10 days later.

Been waiting to place my order for over a year. Even so these last few months will be very difficult.

Congratulations! :champagne:

The waiting is the hardest part. Especially once it's at the rail yard and waiting for the final destination.

How hard can waiting really be?
You are a member of this forum, so that means you will be buying something every few days, meaning you will be receiving a little bit of your truck everyday for the next few weeks! haha
Congrats!
It is definitely worth the wait (as spoken by someone who bought off the lot.....)

only 10 days to Cali after build? I would think more. I technically put my order in 12/20/19 and have 1+ weeks until build then maybe as many as 2 weeks until dealer delivery although i'm only 2 hours or so from the plant.
The way I looked at it, like I did at the beginning of this year(actually meant beginning 2019), is that i'm not in a hurry to drive my new truck through the snow and salt so i'm not in a hurry anyway..

Yeah, I think that is overly optimistic. It took 21 days to get to Oregon for mine.

Probably only 1100 miles.
It's adapting to your style of driving. It will be smoother over time. Sometimes when you change your style it can get clunky, but overall it will be smooth.

Does it continue to adjust throughout the life of the vehicle? Right now my wife is dong all the driving as I am healing from some surgery. She has a heavier foot than I do.

I am not sure if it continues to adjust. I would think it would if but don't know. I know if you remove the + battery cable for 15min. that it will have to relearn. Of course you will probably have to reset all your setting again. There may be a way to make it relearn without going through all that. Someone on here may have experienced that and can chime in.
