I had a Lightning Blue Ranger XLT, Sport package 302A on order for over 2 months and according to Ford, it would not be available until August. I found the almost identical truck this holiday weekend, and i could not pass it up, with the incentives Ford was offering for Memorial Day. This truck is a:
Lightning Blue XLT, 302A, Sport package, 4x4, Locking Differential, Technology package, Bedliner, and Splash guards. The only thing i will be adding is the Tow package. I had already ordered some accessories so I will install them on this truck. I am so happy that i did not wait any longer. This truck, as many of you already know, is good in so many ways. The ride is incredible, the cabin is so quiet inside and the Lightning Blue color has received a lot of complements. I am very impressed with the power and drive ability. This thing gets right up and goes with no hesitation. And i just traded in my 2015 Mustang GT, so i have high expectations when it comes to power. I have a couple of pictures so far.

Congrats!
Are you going to go with an OEM tow accessory pkg?

I want to, but I’m not sure if my dealer can order it yet. I am checking with them tomorrow.

I have one on order but may or may not go for it. Seems to be a national backorder.

Oh that’s not good. I may have to go aftermarket or just wait for awhile.

I'd only go OEM but others here have gone aftermarket.

I traded in a 2015 Mustang GT also......Power of the truck is good but there is no comparison.

Mustang power has increased a lot. I had a '02 GT which if I remember right had 260HP. I drive cars back from auction and have driven newer Mustangs with the Eco-boost - both that and the Rangers I have driven would have taken my '02 without too much trouble. I sold my '98 Ranger and now realize I need a truck, but I'm still not going to test drive a newer GT :) My Ranger 2 April and don't yet have a VIN. :(

Yes, the acceleration can’t match the Mustang GT, but I am very pleased with what the Ranger can do.
