Look at some idiot who slammed opened their door. It’s a huge dent… this is going to be expensive. The world is full of idiots. I’ll park super far away from here on out. Pretty sure it was on purpose without a doubt, that’s a hard opening of a door

Just take it to a paintless dent repair specialist .. I had a very similar dent in mine and they fixed it back to good .. you will be surprised what they can fix
It’s on the corner of the crease inwards. I sure hope it’s not too expensive and fixable..

Oh man. That really sucks Brandon. Plus 1 to what Colbey said - if they can fix it, it’s usually like a hundred, hundred and a half - guys around here come to your house. It’s worth checking out.

Hmm, maybe it’s time for some sweet RTR fender flares. ?

It’s quite unfortunate. Okay, that doesn’t sound too bad. I think I just need to accept things like this happen, just had to be with the Ranger I have been babying. Pinstripes and rock chips, that’s fine. But purposeful dents by others… ya not fun. Thank you for an average of what you think it will cost Duke, going to look into it.

haha do you think the flare would cover it? Looking at images, I don't think it will go that high unfortunately but that was a good consideration :p

It is garbage day, but this was at the parking lot at local grocery store. I had to try to cool down before posting this and drove home first.

I was actually sitting in my Ranger one day babysitting the mountain bikes in the grocery store parking lot while the wife grabbed a couple items. Lady right next to me thumped her door into my mirror pretty good. Wasn't paying the slightest bit of attention. Just flung her door open. I was a bit animated in my response, to say the least. Thankfully, the mirror housings are just black plastic and nothing was (semi)permanently affected on my truck, at least.

I'm not sure I'd chalk yours up to malice. Being so self-absorbed that you're completely oblivious to others around you...sure. I'd buy that.

No problem - maybe not that purposeful - years ago, the wind caught my passenger door in a mall parking lot and my wife couldn’t hold it - took the mirror right off the car beside it. It was hanging by the wires. I waited for the owner, unlike the total douche that did this to your Ranger. Still completely wrong!

It may not hide it - I was thinking more of preventing more dents. ?

That is quite lucky it hit just plastic for you. I can see that some people are self-absorbed and careless/oblivious, agreed on that. This dent just looked pretty deep but I guess like you said, some people are completely in their own world.

Didn't think of that. There are a lot more variables I am not considering, I guess I am just frustrated right now so I am accusing them of being evil and a villian :p I am already relaxing a bit reading the helpful comments here though. Yeah wish they were a good citizen like you but, apparently not.

Oh true, I didnt even think of that... Possible consideration now :giggle:

Maybe there’s a Master’s thesis in it for you on why people do this kind of thing and not own up to it.

Anyway, get that shit fixed and get your truck back to normal - I like lookin’ at it. ?

Hm, maybe that would have been an easier Master's thesis than the one I actually did.

Garbage Day? You’re either The Amazing Kreskin or Columbo. I saw the bin, so I’m going with Columbo. ?
