I know SPC has control arms for both aluminum and cast knuckles. I got mine from Hotshot Offroad. A bit cheaper than the other options as well but tried and true on many other trucks.

Did you ever have any problems running these spc uca ?? the get kinda mixed reviews and the company has changed the design a few times. But I've got an opportunity to get these for a great price and it'd still be a considerable improvement over stock too.

Haven't had a single issue. Had them one the truck for 50000 miles and just grease them with every oil change (5000 miles). The truck doesn't spend too much time off-road but my daily commute is across super shitty gravel and paved roads. I've been very happy with them.

I’m looking at all of the upper control arm options to get my alignment back to where it’s supposed to be. 21 ranger with aluminum spindles. Seems like the SPC are a better deal but where are they made, is steel a better option than aluminum?
What’s your preference?

i went with the grimm offroad UCA because they were on sale at the time and i believe they are steel and theyve been great for me. im not sure about SPC but icon is cool, grimm as i mentioned i like, camburg if you got the coin is best IMO,

I went with the higher end camburg kinetic UCA’s… very nice looking very robust feeling.. the maintenance schedule is a bit of a headache.. but dang do they look nice šŸ˜….
They feel good (as much as I could tell with the driving I do.)

The billet aluminum are a little stronger I think.. but I couldn’t say with 100% certainty that is the truth.

Derrick here!

I also want to jump in and state from a personal perspective, SPC is the best bang for your buck. I have personally ran these a couple times and loved them. The level adjustability is awesome and I have taken mine both in and Offroad with no issues.

I actually have camburg on my ranger right now. And I’ll be honest they too are great quality and are seemingly the same as the spc. At the time I was looking for UCAs, spc had not released theirs for the steel knuckles. if they would have had them, I would’ve gone with SPC. And would have saved $200! So from a personal opinion; I highly recommend SPC.

holy old thread, I know... Will the SPC give you additional camber adjustment? I have BP51 suspension plus 1/2" strut spacers (giving an additional 1" of lift up front) and, on my last alignment, they were unable to get the camber in spec. I have been looking at the RPG UCAs but... they're expensive as hell. If I need to use those, I will, but saving money is good too. Right now, I am running the Icon tubular UCAs and... like stated earlier, I can't get the camber in spec.
