Tbh I haven't really researched cantilever suspensions. Seems like the advantage is using smaller shocks?
You can run longer shocks without going into bed, it's also supposed to articulate a bit better.

For me i say my dream build which I have yet to see it done on our truck is a cantilever set up. That would fit the bill for you too.
Nice setup! Was it hard to weld to the frame after you ran the tubes through the bed?

O no I haven't got that far yet to do a cantilever set up. That is on the need to build list. It would pair perfect with chevy 63 leafs. Since the center is only I believe 2 inches further back

I know this is kinda old now but wanted to show my truck. I’ll make a new post with it all later. I got with Wicked Creations who makes some 3.5” and 5” wider arms for the bronco. Got them to test fit the 3.5” arms on my truck. They machined some additional spacers for the upper arms to get the width right for mounting. I was expecting 4.5” wider on the ranger where I had seen the bronco being 1” wider than ranger. Ended up being 5.5” wider per side and with my 35x12.50 tires on 0 offset wheels my track width is 89” wide from outside of tires. I need to get the rear wider to match and will be doing a F150 axle swap soon. I now need longer shocks as the icons I have are too short. Could probably fit a 2.5x8 and keep the stock mounting locations but I want to run 10” coilovers and make some new mounts.

You just killed the game. Best setup ever. You going with the fiberglass +6" fenders?
On a side note I've never seen tubes on the front bumper used as a skid plate like that. Very nice.

Yea I’ve gotta get fiberglass!! I’m hoping 6” will cover it lol ? but I’ve seen pics with someone with 6” glass on +3 kit and 0 offset and it sit pretty flush. Yea that’s how I ended up doing my bumper. I still need to add the actual skid to it. I wanted to protect that radiator that hangs so low lol ?

I had made a shock tower to run bronco coil overs and had 11 inches of travel upfront with stock lower arms and icon upper arms. So I’d be willing to bet you’d get an ass ton more.
