Did not know it did that till I bumped it by accident. Always use to hold it as long as you want. Now I just drive with my hazards on, that way I can turn any way I want.
So, that was you who I saw when I was in the city yesterday. Didn’t you see me flashing my lights like mad behind you?

Wait !!! What !!! You all use signals ???
Why....keep everyone guessing !!!
if you dont use it the brain will think you are drifting out of the lane and fight you to keep you in your lane, it didnt take me long to figure out the lane keeping line on the side of the little truck on the display goes out for the lane when you put your turn on and it doesnt try and keep you in the lane, sometimes these trucks are a pain in the ass LOL

That's interesting... I would figure it to be the same. I will play with this some when I get a chance.

Here is some more I found.

Quoted from another forum.... I know you all tried but I want to try too. :)

Now for the OUC part

I changed the value from A to B. This is "5 flashes with OUC true."

The lane change feature and the manual positioning did not change from the previous (5 flash) setup. However, when using the "turn a corner" mode--which is pressing the stalk up/down until it clicks and it stays in that position until you've turned the wheel and it's gone back to center--things changed:

When approaching a corner, you press the stalk all the way down or up. You've been doing this since you first learned to drive. The turn signal starts flashing. You turn the corner, the wheel goes back to center and the turn signal stops flashing. UNLESS you have set OUC set to "true" in which case the turn signal stalk returns to the normal (neutral) position and the signals keep flashing. Really a weird sensation after many years of seeing the signal stop when the stalk goes back.

To cancel the flashing signal, tap the signal either up or down. It doesn't matter which direction you were indicating, the signal will stop flashing until your next use of the stalk.

None of this seems to affect the emergency flasher operation. They override everything.

Checked for DTCs: None.

I didn't verify each of the values as it's pretty straightforward regarding the number of flashes. If you want to leave things as they are but change the number of flashes, use the values with "OUC=false." If you want to confuse anyone you lend your truck to (you'd lend your truck out???) then the "OUC=true" values will do this......
Have you tried this on your Ranger yet? I *REALLY* want 5 blinks instead of 3... but I won't have time this week to try this.

My BLIS consist of the sound of screeching tires and breaking glass on the side I'm merging into.

Pretty realistic sounding too and like the piped in engine sound, it works with and without the stereo on.

stuff Soupie dreams about

No Sorry. I'm at work. I work 28 on and 28 off. Working in the dredging business now I worked in the oil field for 14 years as a Chief Electronic Tech. I love it. Work on Military AC and Sim's part time.

This will be on my list when I get back home.

My 2019 XLT also does 3 blinks with a quick bump. If I'm a bit slow it won't do 3 blinks so I just pop it into detent.

@kendive, any update on changing the number of flashes thru Forscan?
