I heard the reason BMW/Audi drivers don't use signals is because after 3 years, that feature becomes subscription based and no one wants to pay $4.99 a month for signals.

I'm waiting to get pulled over for DUI using that. Apparently, around here three is the minimum number of blinks to legally indicate a lane change and many drunk drivers let it blink 3 times and turn it off to avoid detection

Wow! Your drunk drivers can count to 3 and use blinkers? Our sober ones don't even use them. Must be the fact that they use them that gives them away. ?

I just time my use of the three blinks. Basically I make fast lane changes because I only have three blinks to get it done!?
We can see what you’re doing. Blinks are for signaling intentions, not what you’re doing.

Does the count change with a trailer connected or when in tow mode?

Feature in the 2021 Ranger Sport allows a quick tap to the turn signal lever to get 3 blinks and stop. Would there be a setting in FORScan I can change to increase the amout of blinks to say 5 blinks?
I bought a wifi/Bluetooth scanner/code reader &use the CARISTA app. This app will let you access "extra" features in many vehicles such as Auto-blinker from 3-5-7-9 flashes, Auto window/windows down on unlock etc. The app will also let you check by Manufacturer/model to see if these options are available for your particular vehicle. You do have to pay. But it's like $10 for a few months access
