Thanks. This is going to be very helpful. I wish I had the sliding window but having this diagram is going to go a long way in visualizing what I need to remove.
I'm glad to see this. Mine was likely done a similar way but not quite as bad (I hope) There was a dent in front of the antenna that a suction cup fixed and now I just have to drop the headliner enough to pull the antenna and (hopefully) reseat it. Wish me luck it's not too bad for me to work with.
Has anyone ever done a write-up/video for dropping the headliner in a SCab? I found a video for a SCrew online, but it's not as thorough and doesn't cover the SCab.
I have a 2019 that I got about 4 years ago. Not long after I got it, I noticed the roof had a dent that appears to be from backing...
I was NOT addressing that issue, I was addressing the function of a pressure switch on the system. I was also pressed for time and unfortunately couldn't go further into the OP's problem. Most likely due to loss of refrigerant or some electrical issue that would have to be traced to find the cause.
It's actually a pressure switch that relies on pressure of the refrigerant to engage the clutch, at least it was when I was certified in automotive AC. I had a 1984 LTD wagon I converted to 134a about 25 years ago and had to bypass the switch to start filling it. On this one, it was on the...
I have been meaning to do this for a couple weeks, but this forum helped me fix a customer's vehicle recently. I work at one of the big auto parts stores and had a customer come in with a battery light on. Lady with a 2020 Explorer and I'm about to go through all our tests when she tells me her...
That's exactly it. I have this controller and have only used it a couple of times, but you have to have everything connected before you can set it up.
On a side note, when I got mine, many people said it wouldn't work with a 5G Ranger. Mine works fine
That's the way to do it. I don't think the factory nav does traffic conditions where Apple, Google, Waze, etc. can warn you and reroute as needed. Sometimes new places don't get added quickly, though. Where I work showed up on google and apple but wasn't in the right spot and waze didn't show it...
Getting out of date? I haven't updated the map in my Ranger, but it was almost 20 years out of date when it was built. Tried to take me down a road one time that I know for a fact was closed in the early 2000s
I got the factory running boards for my 19 just because I wanted the understated look. When I got the truck, I told the salesperson that running boards were a top priority because it was a step to get in for me. Was looking and already leaning toward the factory style when I saw some on a Ranger...
I noticed on my last three FoMoCos that the brake seemed low. After comparing to the Colorados we use at work, I felt my Ranger definitely had a lower pedal. Used a scan tool to bleed the ABS and it was comparable to the Chevys. If I had a choice, I'd take the Ford any day.
I think I can say with all fairness that the mechanic and service manager were working with the information given to them. Had you mentioned the battery message, they might have wanted to check the battery first. It could also be due to how experienced they are, but I have to think the head...
I'd like something on the covers with a little button inside the port. Or remove the covers completely
On a side note, I see your cable management matches mine lol
First time it happened, I didn’t see the message about the door being ajar on my SCrew. Turned out I hadn’t closed the back door fully and the front door and my weight pushed it just slightly on turns. I have to make sure I close the door firmly because it still looks closed and I still get the...
