Your factory UCAs should have a part number on them. You can just check and cross reference to a regular Ranger.

Can you fill in the blanks above because there are cast aluminum knuckles and cast iron knuckles.
Do you have iron or aluminum knuckles?
Did you buy the upper arms for aluminum or iron?
I bought the tapers for cast because I have cast. The arms I received were for aluminum so they said all I had to do was swap them, which I did. Still can’t align it properly.

Sorry I wasn't too clear, cast is a process. Iron and aluminum are the materials. From factory ford used cast aluminum knuckles then switched to cast iron knuckles.

I have IRON spindles on my 2021 Ranger Tremor, the UCAs that were purchased were for ALUMINUM spindles. I purchased them used from a guy on the Facebook group who upgraded his whole front end to a long travel kit. So I contacted BajaKits and asked if there was a conversion I could do and they told me to swap the tapers to a CAST IRON taper set and I would be okay. So I purchased the CAST IRON tapers from them for $130. Swapped and installed everything but still I can not get it to align properly. (Mind you the truck they can off of was a 2019 FX4 and aligned fine). My current alignment is maxed out with my lower control arms out as far as they can go and the spec is still +(0.9). It’s seems as if the upper control arms by bajakits are too large for the tremor, which makes me think there is a difference between the tremor control arms and regular Ranger control arms. (This is conflicting information all over the internet with multiple sources saying they are different but the dealers have them listed as the same part, which really has me lost at this point). The only other thing I think it could possibly be is that the control arms are not compatible with the 2” leveling kit I put on the truck (fordrangerlifts.com). I will attempt to get it realigned at another shop on Monday and if it doesn’t fix the problem I will be at a stand still.

(hopefully this was a thorough description of my issue, I know reading through threads can get confusing)

Can you post pictures? I want to see the Baja UCA on the truck, the LCA cam bolts, front view of the tires planted on the ground.

Gotcha. So you have the uppers and a spacer.

Is there even any need for the aftermarket UCA? You clearly don’t need it to correct alignment and with a spacer level doesn’t seem like you are setup for any more travel in the suspension. Maybe just swap back to stock given it seems like it likely provides no benefit and is causing you such grief.

I agree. He can even mail it to me and I will "recycle" it.

Made an appointment for Firestone next Saturday (2/19). Told the guy over the phone I want them to specifically try and get the camber to 0.00 degrees. Here is a print out from when I had it aligned a month ago right after the spacer lift went on.

I think there is but not for alignment purpose, unless someone is trying different angles for traction. The funny thing is I started this thread for a completely different purpose which was to find a UCA to relieve ball joint stress when leveling a tremor. This thread has apparently gone south but is amusing. I also don't think $800 + for UCAs is practical. I came from lifted Toyotas and jeeps we used to rip full solid axles from junk yards for $500.

Yep the thread evolved. Lol.

When I asked if even a need, I meant for the dude struggling to get aligned. Seems like an aftermarket UCA is only useful for fixing geometry/alignment after a big lift or to enable increased articulation in combination with improved shocks/springs. Guy only has a spacer and is struggling with alignment. Seems he doesn’t actually need this aftermarket UCA.

With the 2” leveling kit the stock UCAs we’re maxed out and at full droop they would bind. It seemed to be putting a lot of pressure on the stocks. I plan on wheeling my truck pretty hard which I why I decided to go aftermarket.

That’s the exact reason I went with BajaKits UCAs is because the stocks had a lot of stress on the ball joints with the 2” leveling lift. The bajakits come with uniballs and they perform great! If I can just get it aligned we’d be good!

Gotcha. Guess surprised to hear that 2” level was causing problems with the stock arm.

A spacer lift isn’t beneficial for off-roading anyways. It will give you more body clearance, but no further articulation and suspension travel. Plus as we are seeing they mess with geometry.
