Any harm in adding another magnet in the PPE pan? You would need to use an epoxy to hold in place but I think it’s a good idea.

Don't get your finger pinched between the two. Ouch!Hard drive magnets are super strong. Let two snap together and they're not easy to separate. I kept one attached to the outside of our '94 Jeep GC ZJ metal trans pan.

Was not aware of that. Because of that things should be fineProbably won't hurt, but there's already a 2nd magnet in the Motorcraft filter.

I came here to say exactly this!Probably won't hurt, but there's already a 2nd magnet in the Motorcraft filter.
When I changed the fluids in both my diffs & transfer case, there was so much metal dust in the fluids that the magnet in the plug was no longer collecting any more metal. All three had collected their maximum. The fluids looked like grey milk. The drain plug is magnetic.
Why need another magnet?
That and the one in the filter should be plenty, right?
From the Mishimoto description...
Additionally, our pan comes equipped with a magnetic drain plug for easy draining and a 1/8-inch NPT port and plug for temperature sensors to make servicing your transmission and monitoring temperatures a breeze
