Had to share, I was going to get a $250+ pan just for a drain plug. Ill be ordering this instead. Doesn’t get hot enough here to need extra cooling anyway. This is awesome for fluid changes.

It made me way too excited.

Easier to just add this. $18 bucks on Amazon.
Another member posted somewhere that he added it....grinded a few plastic outer fins to make a flush/surface and had no problems.
I do the sucky flush with Fitzstick and pump, but gonna keep this on hand for a pan drop to change filter, and install it then.

So tempting. But so is the convenience of the aluminum pan. I have 10k before its time, so one more oil change to think. Definitely doing the Fitz stick, but undecided on pan options.

Ill keep the sucky flush for the bedroom. Neighbors dont need to see that in the garage.

FWIW, I've had excellent luck with Dorman trans parts (lead frame and pan).

You see? This is what’s so great about this forum….useful information, support of another member, followed by an opinion, and wrapped up with a good joke. Love it! 😀

Always slip jokes in. The innuendo of being a car guy is endless.

I was looking at those an I thought there were a lot of complaints about poor fit quality.

I was all set to buy the Dorman pan a few months back from Rockauto until I read the reviews elsewhere. I was bummed, but bit the bullet and bought the deep PPE pan and have no regrets! Well made and no leaks!

Guess I was slow on the draw and it appears that they suck….
A Ford tech told me they leak he said they put one on and had to put factory one back on.
