I had the FPT done also and really liked it. But the very best thing I did was install Banks PedalMonster!. This device is customizable and removes every pause/lag from the accelerator to the PCM. My truck will shit-n-git now buddy!
Let’s hear more about this!

It connects to your ODB and using Blue-Tooth is connected to the App. You then choose a mode (Stock, City, Sport, or Track) then you slide a bar up with your finger. The higher the bar the less hesitancy of your engine response when you press the accelerator. You will be very surprised that your truck can drive like this. It's a game changer!

PedalMonster Throttle Controller for Ram and Ford Trucks [64310-C, 64311-C, 64312-C, 64313-C] - PedalMonster, Standalone - Banks Power

All its doing is changing the ramp % on the throttle. IMO this a waste of time. Just drive the truck in sport mode or Tow haul mode + Tune

I loved the above video!
But, I can't see buying a product like this. Save yourself some money and push harder on the skinny pedal. It doesn't require that much more effort.

Yep, and all the tunes from my understanding incorporate this to some extent anyway. May as well tune it and use sport mode and get more smiles per gallon.

I bought the livernois tune within a few weeks of owning my 2021. Installed it at 1k and now Im at 95k. I'm on the 89 tune majority of the time and every so often I'll change to 93 for some fun. It was worth it just for the better transmission mannerisms.

My pedal response is awesome with the Livernois tune.

Here's another thing you need to consider; how easy is it to get in touch with the tuner?

I emailed Livernois on 17 Jan 2025 @ 5:46pm with tuning questions and received a response on 17 Feb 2025 @ 10:43. That's absolutely unacceptable in this day and age. I waited 2 weeks for a response and emailed Torrie @ Unleashed with a question about tuning on 1 Feb 2025 @ 1:28 and had a response 8 minutes later. On a Saturday. That's called customer service. I get the same thing from Winfield @ Goosetuned on our Explorer ST.
At the end of the day it's your money, but I wouldn't spend a penny with someone that can't answer an email for 31 calendar days.

I actually think something may have been up with them during that time. Normally they have a pretty quick turn around time. I emailed them first week of January and I got a response the Feb 17th as well. They responded back multiple times that day.

I had already spent the money on a tune from Torrie by that time. Very happy with it, got a performance and a tow tune. I went through the same thing with the ST. Everyone on the ST forums praise Adam @ ZFG, but he couldn't answer a damn email at all, much less wait a month.

I don't blame you, I already have a tune with them. If I didn't get an answer by the end of the month I was gonna get a different tune haha.

Seems like a non-typical response from Livernois. I had several questions upon receipt of my tunes, like only half of them would download. They were very fast to respond. Then when I wanted a tune tweaked, they had me an updated tune within a day.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but Livernoise also has a Phone Number that you can call to reach out to them. Sometimes things get lost by accident. I've had that happen to me before as well. I have had no problems contacting the correct party by phone as needed as I prefer not to heavily rely on Emails thanks to a previous work place(they relied on Emails so much that you had to go back and delete them)

Good point! I know full well how when getting multiple emails, how easily you can overlook one, or open it, fully intending to respond, then get side tracked.
