I would drive it for awhile and check those plugs again. Not sure what the dealer would do at this pointI did make an appointment at the dealer to have it looked and documented.

It’s on the tip of the plug..it’s blow by ..Not sure on this engine but sometimes it's the valve cover leaking into the spark plug well.
good idea to have it documented ahead of the warranty expiration just in case. id bet a path or river way so to speak exists from the fill point down to those plug locations where the oil slowly snakes it way into that area and pools. i will look closer at mine. last time i spilled about half a quart, funnel did not stay in hole like i expected it to and i was pour happy...Oil was changed about 3000 miles ago. I change it every 5k. I’m thinking it’s spillage but how would it get past the rubber boot on the coil pack? And only in the center 2 plus not the front ans back.
That being said….the truck is running fine. And not smoking at all. I did make an appointment at the dealer to have it looked and documented.
Maybe, but oil on the tip would cause a misfire, and smoke out the tailpipe even if it was 100% synthetic oil, if it was sitting in a pool of oil it would get all over upon removal. It’s one the tip of the plug..it’s blow by ..
I'm thinking I spilled some but still not sure how I could of and how it got past the rubber seal on the coil pack. I use a transmission filler funnel (one with a very tiny drain opening) I'm going to pull them back off later this week and see if there's any oil there. The truck runs good, no misfires, no smoking and 22mpg with 93 octane winter gas. Or maybe a leaking valve cover gasket.I’m trying to picture oil leaking down around the coil packs…
How many times have you changed the oil in 35K mikes?
Fresh oil on plug threads doesn’t (necessarily) equate to internal engine/cylinder damage. You would definitely have other unambiguous indicators (lots of smoke, misfires, noticeable power loss). My amateur advice: Fill it w/90+ octane and go drive it really hard in “Sport” mode.
If it smokes like a 2-stroke, park it at the front door of your local Ford dealer.
If it doesn’t, then park it over a piece of cardboard for a few days & see if any oil drops appear, and then panic.
On the plus side; I’ll bet the plugs came out easily….
Probably got past the seal when you took the plug out …I'm thinking I spilled some but still not sure how I could of and how it got past the rubber seal on the coil pack. Thanks for the feedback!
Doc, I didn't even think of that! Hmmmm.....although the front and back plugs were bone dry....just the middle two had oil.Probably got past the seal when you took the plug out …

No matter what it is....I don't think it's anything major.
