There are a few 9 second baggers out there but they're not fun to live with. I want to run the drag strip sometime....I think I might hit a 12.99
Here, they have a bagger class, crazy to see a full dress Harley run 10 seconds or better..they have a hell of a 2nd gear !

I had a v rod an magazine riders have posted 11 second times stock but I'm no where near that skilled a rider/launch artist. I changed the cams in my bike, had the heads cleaned up an bumped compression about .5 with a thinner head gasket. I should have thrown a 110 kit in it while I had the heads off but I wasn't sure of my ability to file rings an get a proper seal.

OP, did Ford ever say what the "hole in the bottom of the engine" was about?

Perhaps there was a hole in the oil pan somehow and it pissed the oil out.

still waiting to hear what the OP finds out....

I'm the type that can't leave anything alone...I enjoy changing stuff up to make a vehicle my own. That V rod is an 02 with the 180 wide rear tire...I crammed a 240 under the back of it an thought it looked killer. The later v rods all had 240's but the frame an fender were wider....with the 180 fame an fender it looks more dramatic. I changed the cams an stuff on my street glide an added a sony touch screen stereo with an amp to kick up the sound. My ranger has a tune an few other mods an the front level kit is awaiting installation. I knew the extended warranty would be a waste on my Harley's....I didn't buy one on the ranger an since I modded it that might be a good thing.

You guys need some COBB tunes on those bikes. Where’s the COBB suckers?
I'm going to have my street glide fine tuned...I have a map off a bike with the same set up so it's close just not perfect. Never heard of Cobb....There's a place called Roeder's about an hour away that's a well known Harley tuner. I'm not looking to squeeze every ounce of power out of it but I want to be sure it's a safe afr across the band.

Had a roommate years ago. Big German guy. 6’5” massive dude. He went and got himself a Vmax when they first came out. After a month or so decides he wants to put nitrous on it. I went with him on his first run trying it out. I never seen a bike move like that! He circles around and comes back and whips the helmet off and throws it to the ground. His face was the whitest I ever saw him. He said I was laying on the handle bars to keep it down and trying to not get ripped right off it. No more nitrous! ?

We use to go to bike week every year up in Laconia. I've seen several of the Boss Hoss bikes there and they were really cool. We didn't have smart phones back then so I don't have any pictures but remember seeing one similar to this one.

I saw potter at miami Hollywood dradstrip around 1967-68
on his 327 ci direct drive drag bike and the track limited him to under 150 mph...he burned all the way through the 1/4 mile...also he was known to be pulled behind a dragster on a steel skid plate..
