There are a number of IOS apps as well as Android that will display gauges. Forscan for making setting changed is Android only.
FYI, the FORScan Android app does not allow you to make much in the way of changes, mostly just read configurations. To modify configurations, you must use the windows version.

This has always been my thought. I have no qualms with tuning an engine, but when I do, I am fully prepared to replace it on my dime should something go south. If I could get the manufacturer to cover it? Great! But I certainly don't put all my eggs in that basket.
Sorry that is what I meant. Neither IOS or Android Lite versions let you make changes.

Just an update, want to answer a couple questions I saw asked throughought this thread... still waiting on Ford, haven’t spoken to 5Star until Ford tells me the reason they are denying the warranty, due to the tune?? I’ll then contact 5Star saying Ford’s claim that it was their tune, and see what 5Star does... I was asked if a Check Engine Light came on, and there was no check engine light on. I know that it pays to play, but I’m not playing out of bounds... and I knew that going in, which is why I purchased a warranty, just in case... I’ve modified every vehicle I own, tunes included... My VW’s are APR, and this my first Ford Ecoboost, so I went with 5Star for their warranty and experience... I’m new to the 2.3 and had it Dyno‘d to check the numbers etc... I may have misquoted my Dyno numbers, while trying to convert to crank... I don’t know what the drivetrain loss is, but I’m posting my Dino sheets so if someone can let me know if this is too much for the 2.3 and drive train?? Any help is much appreciated, and again, I’ll keep everyone posted as soon as I hear something...

Here's the Ford Performance Parts Ranger Tune Spec's:
  • Ford Performance engine calibration, which increases horsepower by 16 percent to 315 at 4,500 RPM and increases torque by nearly 20 percent to 370 lb.-ft. at 2,500 RPM
You're tune is different, which isn't surprising, in that your engine is turning more rpm's to accomplish nearly the same numbers. I'm curious what size tires you have on your truck? FPP level 2 uses 265/70-17's.

His numbers are at the wheels, FRPP is using crank hp as a reference for their % increases.

The first pull, was on stock wheels, just AFE intake and tune, 2nd pull was after installing the 3” AFE down pipe, and AFE intake tubes and another tune on stock wheels... the horse power didn’t change much, but the down pipe made the biggest difference in torque... I was happy with the tune and air filter, but the down pipe let the turbo spool up so much easier... I then bought the AFE 3” exhaust, no resinator, loud as hell... bought the Ford Performance exhaust, about to install, and the engine did what it did... I never did a pull with the raptor wheels and tires... Those that have asked what I’m going to do depending on the repair, if it’s out of pocket or not... If Ford blames the tune, and 5 star doesn’t back the warranty I purchased?? Then I’ll rebuild... I’m going to buy the Ford Performance tune under warranty and will never use 5 Star Tuning again for anything I own that’s Ford... Including the new Ford Ranger Raptor that I’m waiting for...

Way out of bounds... That is a pay to play scenario if I ever saw one in regard to the mods made. Again, from a guy that tuned his RS and knew the risks I was taking. I can tell you that there are reputable companies that will tune, and there are ones that will tell you that you are good to go that are pushing the limits. I can't tell you how many people blew up their Focus ST's when they came out because a certain tuner literally blew it!

I wouldn't want the hard truth either but IMO he hasn't got a chance in hell that Ford or 5star will cover this. Time to buy a new motor and chalk it up to lessons learned.
