Since we're all making a wish list, here's mine:
1. 2.7 EB option for XLT or Lariat
2. Heated steering wheel
3. Cooled seats on the leather seats OR cloth option....I'm not a fan of leather seats...makes my back sweat
4. Power sliding rear window....even at 6'5", I can't reach it to open or close

I keep comparing my current truck and all the features it has and I am having a difficult time justifying the cost....giving up a Hemi for a 4-banger for about the same price I paid and now it's almost paid off....a new Ranger might be in my future, but not sure when. FORD FOLKS---R U listening ????? Waiting to see what Dodge/Ram has to offer.

I agree with those calling for a six foot bed option on crew cab and the 2.7L EB. IF both were available, I would order today. It might be best for me to exercise some patience and wait and see what Job 2 brings.

I agree ventilated seats would be nice on the lariat trim for those of us in the south. That said, I can't help but think that if you want a truck with a 2.7 EB and 6' bed Ford already makes one for you that is comparably priced.

The problem is that the option you are talking about is CONSIDERABLY larger than a Ranger. I've thought about it a lot, and at the end of the day, an F-150 is just too large for me and how I use my truck.

I'm with you... I've owned an '06 SCab F150 for ten years after driving a mix of mostly Rangers before that. Had a family member recently purchase an '18 SCrew F150 and parked next to mine in the driveway, my '06 looked 3/4 scale. I will say I was surprised how comfortable I was behind the wheel of the SCrew. Electric steering and backup cameras make a huge difference.

Another one I'm going to try - for the wireless charging - this won't be quite as slick as something built in, but I think it will work - set this in the tray under the console and plug it into the USB port there:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0798X8Y9K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think that will work, and it has a non slip ring to keep your phone from sliding around.
I used a similar setup on my Colorado. It was round rather than rectangular, but fit perfectly in the tray in front of the shifter with some velcro to hold the charger in place. Like you said, not as good as built-in, but it works and is better than having to plug the phone in every time.

Did you have a problem with your phone sliding around on it and stopping charging? When I was looking around for various DIY ways of adding this, that was one common theme it seemed. That is why I thought that rectangular charger with the non slip ring might work better than a standard "puck".

No, it didn't slide around, but I had placed the charger so that the phone was pressed against the tray wall so it couldn't move very easily. But, as with all wireless chargers (at least the ones I've used) you have to be careful to set the phone in exactly the right place for it to charge. A little too far to the left or right and it wouldn't connect up and charge.

Yep, that is the one thing with wireless chargers - they can be very particular. I have one on my desk and sometimes I have to re-position the phone so it will charge.

I have a while before I can experiment with this - if anyone else tries it I'd love to hear how it works for you.

I plan on using Carplay with my iPhone and don't see a need for a wireless charger since the phone has to be connected via USB.

Android Auto can be used without plugging your phone in (I think). But I don't trust a wireless charger to work as well in a moving car as a regular charging cable.

Vented seats are the biggest for me. In Florida you end up with a sweaty backside when you drive a car with a leather interior no matter how low the ac is set. A sunroof would be nice, too. Not a deal breaker by any means.
