...it's your truck, make it be exactly what YOU want.
Agreed - As long as you are making the payments on it, you owe no one a place to off load their crap. They want to tell you how to run your Ranger, tell them to start writing checks. Start a go-fund me for unwanted / unhelpful / after the fact / arm chair quarterback criticism.

You may be thinking of this, an instant classic:

Most new ranger hate comes from people who can’t afford: are to cheap to upgrade an old one or people who have no clue about trucks in general while will find the littlest things to justify keeping their Prius or Subaru or whatever shit box commuter they drive, I’ve been on a few forums over the years and it all becomes repetitive

I paid $15,000ish for a brand new 2003 Ranger, at the time it was only $1,000 more for an F-150. Granted, the Ranger was a 4.0 and the F-150 was also a v6.

I don’t care what forum your on. It’s always the same. On the Mustang forum I get about 10 private messages A month. Asking on flex tunes, super chargers & tuning. And that cars been out for 5 years. Shits expensive and people don’t want to make a purchase without being sure items will work. So I try to be a good community member. If I have a question. I ask it. If I have an answer to someone’s questions. I gladly share. No big deal.

Hi RP,

I didn't know you could delete other people's posts. I know you can delete your own, I've done that plenty of times, but I can't see the button on another person's post. Not discounting your experience, just confused as to how it's happening.

Mods can blackhole posts they feel are offensive, or ban users, like Misfittoy. I've had more than a few posts deleted.

Interesting. I guess I've never checked back to see if any of my posts have been deleted by someone other than myself.
I could see certain things like targeting of another member and explicit content being removed, that's just policing of the rules. But "offensive" is such a subjective term. I've been offended by a handful of things on here and nothing has been done about it, nor would I have done anything about it if I were a mod (at least the things I've seen). I'd have to know more information about the deleted posts to make my own complete opinion.

What did Misfittoy do to be banned by the way? Or are we not allowed to talk about it?

Also, I feel like us talking about this so openly is like taunting the NSA or Homeland Security with your search history or mail orders to be added to a list. hahaha

oh im sure someones reporting the post cuz they're feelings are hurt about what i said.
which doesnt surprise me with some of those who wander these pages.
what gets me is i feel its targeted to a point. because similar posts in content stay, where mine didn't.

its all good though. I have no ill feelings towards the weak and sensitive
What if someone reports a mod? Does it open a rift in time and space? Or is it like a cop flipping on the lights just because they don't want to stop at a red light (seen it happen a few times), where the law doesn't seem to apply? hahaha

Short answer was a political post when everyone was told no more politics or there will be bans handed out.

Ahh, okay. A political post by itself is not ban worthy in my opinion, but if he was warned (by someone with authority to take action) and outright disregarded then I guess that's fine. Comes down to disobeying authority and breaking the rules then. Disappointing it ever has to come to that, that we all just can't be civil, but the world is a crazy place.

Thanks for response.
