Dealer happily agreed to no dealer stickers on the truck. License plate frame was gray with dealer name in whte. I didn't like the color contrast on an all black truck so I spray painted it black, much nicer looking IMO.So after buying my Ranger and getting it home I'm looking around from different angles and to me this just doesn't look right. Tall piece of black Tupperware.
Trying to figure out whether it is purely a design cosmetic feature (that seems to be on many cars and trucks now) or actually serves some purpose.
I know there are many who probably like it but it isn't working for me.
Anyway It was my first mod and I like it better with out.

Yes first thing I removed was the stepsFirst thing removed were the steps from side rails of my Tremor.
I wear shorts year round and don't want scars inflicted from those things.
For me they were in the way of getting in or out of the truck.
Thanks for the heads up on doing it with the little screen....And it never will.
It can be turned on/off in the Driver Information Display; the smaller screen between the gauges controlled from the upper left steering wheel pod.
It's in the Owner's manual:
Nice Ludwigsberg plate, by the way. My Ranger sports a Wiesbaden plate. The POS third brake light flasher that the dealer tried to charge me $399 for.
I can't find it on my little screen either. Thanks for the heads up on doing it with the little screen.
I didn't realize they still did this? My last 2 cars didn't have it.Same here. I peeled if off while the truck was parked in front of the showroom and stuck it on the showroom window.
I have to admit I took the stickers off the side of the bed.
Like your handle, I had a CB750F... 1971 in Germany.I wanted to remove the paint, but after thinking about it, not my smartest idea.
I use my ASS.
Damper, too much weight.
Removed advert....
Why?Because it’s a pain in the ass.
