I had the DEALER take the dealer sticker off AT THE DEALERSHIP before I even drove it home. I always do that. I tell them they're going to do that before I even agree to buy any vehicle. I ain't advertising for them for free. And I tell them to not even bother putting on their frame. I have my own.

Within the first week of owning the truck, I replaced the tires, took the bed decals off, replaced all headlights/fog lamps with LED bulbs and turned off that darned auto start.

All other mods I did at a leisurely pace.

So after buying my Ranger and getting it home I'm looking around from different angles and to me this just doesn't look right. Tall piece of black Tupperware.
Trying to figure out whether it is purely a design cosmetic feature (that seems to be on many cars and trucks now) or actually serves some purpose.
I know there are many who probably like it but it isn't working for me.
Anyway It was my first mod and I like it better with out.

Dealer happily agreed to no dealer stickers on the truck. License plate frame was gray with dealer name in whte. I didn't like the color contrast on an all black truck so I spray painted it black, much nicer looking IMO.

Replaced the stock Hankook tires with Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. After reading this forum for a week the exhaust and stock tune may be next.

First thing removed were the steps from side rails of my Tremor.
I wear shorts year round and don't want scars inflicted from those things.
For me they were in the way of getting in or out of the truck.
Yes first thing I removed was the steps

...And it never will.
It can be turned on/off in the Driver Information Display; the smaller screen between the gauges controlled from the upper left steering wheel pod.

It's in the Owner's manual:
Thanks for the heads up on doing it with the little screen.

Thanks for the heads up on doing it with the little screen.
I can't find it on my little screen either.
I must be brain dead.....
I have a '21 XLT Sport Super Crew with the 302A package and the electronics upgrade thingy.
And 4WD.
Why can't I find the turn off switch anywhere on this thing?

I work
Same here. I peeled if off while the truck was parked in front of the showroom and stuck it on the showroom window.
I didn't realize they still did this? My last 2 cars didn't have it.
My 2020 Mustang I bought new at a So. Illinois dealership didn't have anything on it when I test drove and did the paperwork. When I went out to take it home, it had 3 different ones.
I waited while they removed them.

I took off the FX2 stickers on the rear wings and replaced the front grill with an RTR that I saw at the 2019 SEMA Show. Painted the grill surround body color. I really still haven't stopped modifying the truck. Used Belltech kit to lower front 2.5" and rear 4". had the Belltech coil overs on for a couple of weeks. Loved the turn in on the handling, but ride too rough for Indiana frost heaved roads.
I have the Belltech coil over front shocks with OEM spring top plates for sale for $700, you pay the shipping.

I had the dealer swap my Shrockworks sliders for the Tremor steps (from my ‘19 FX4). Have Line-X scheduled for next week. Ranger tailgate letters just arrived and smoked side markers are en route. Picked it up this afternoon…

Retired, work is a four letter word.
I wanted to remove the paint, but after thinking about it, not my smartest idea.
I use my ASS.
Damper, too much weight.
Removed advert....
Like your handle, I had a CB750F... 1971 in Germany.

I added some stuff, but what I took off first were the rear seat bottoms and headrest, and replaced rear shocks.
