And here's a pdf of the file showing only the first column of data for each pid.

NOTE: Values for the Lariat FX4 and XL FX4 & Non-FX4 are supressed if they EQUAL the values for the non-FX4 Lariat.
As before, if the values differ, the values for each are shown.

I added the XL trucks to the Lariat worksheet and made a few changes along the way.

PIDs are sorted in numerical order (not as-built order). You can re-sort anyway you like tho.

LARIATS: Values for the FX4 vehicle are blank if they EQUAL the values for the non-FX4 vehicle.
If the values differ, the values for each are shown.

NA means that the pids were not available for that Lariat FX4 vehicle

XL's: All values are shown

-- means these pids are not used in this vehicle (they were not listed in the AsBuilt).

This is an excel file compatible with 97-04 programs so most everyone should be able to open it.

Keep in mind you can hide (and unhide) columns and rows and I found it useful to hide the 2nd and 3rd set of numbers for each vehicle. This makes it easier (for me) to spot differences....

This is a good spreadsheet!

I'd recommend that people find the line of their truck in FX4 trim (use the lariat FX4 info if you have a lariat XLT FX4 if you have an XLT, and XL FX4 if you have an XL)

Then write each piece to the ABS module (take a backup first). It might cause errors in the ABS module initially, but you can reflash it with the original backup if you have a major issue.

Again, I won't have access to the truck I want to do this to for at least a few more weeks, and mine is already an FX4.

I won't be able to test until I buy a switch and I'm still waffling on that....
I think I'd be inclined to try modifying 760-02-01 as that stands out as a clear difference between FX and non-FX and for both Lariats and XL's.....change it then test.

There are some variations in the other pids so they may need to be changed but I'd change one at a time then test, etc. What I do not know is if these values represent any sort of 'calibration data". We don't want to change things that don't matter to turning TC on - the differences you found in 760-02-01 are more like a 'switch' rather than calibration data.

For example 760-03-01 is consistent between Lariats and between XL's but not between XL and Lariats. I doubt that needs changing. I'm really undecided on the other 760's except for 760-01-01 which is basically identical across 4 vehicles so that doesn't need changing.

At this point I agree with t4thfavor and suggest the next try is to change all 760-xx-xx pids to the FX4 numbers and give it a shot. Back up and record your original values and if it's a no-go restore the original values and all should be to normal.

I'd still like to find a 2019 501a FX4 Lariat to examine as-built data. Please PM me if you have that vehicle....
