Has anyone bought the terrain management controls and added them to their vehicle to enable terrain management using forscan yet?

Is that even possible?

We're talking about it in the Forscan thread. Nobody has found the correct buttons yet, and was willing to load someone else's as built data.

What about other sensors at the wheel to electronically manipulate the anti-lock brake system?

The abs system is used for all the wheel speed sensing.

Just need to find the part number for the top row of buttons so we can add crawl control :sunglasses:

Unfortunately, I already have them or I would try.

I'll see if I can get my dad to guinea pig because he is planning to trade his truck in next year for the sole purpose of acquiring the FX4 package (He has a Lariat with locking rear and no FX4).

The odds are bad that he will agree though.

Also, that part number (GB5Z-14B596-AC) appears to be the explorer knob which has the modes built into it as positions on the knob instead of 2-4-4L. My guess is it's physically the same button/knob though but the pictures will be wrong.

Wouldn’t be the first (or 10th) time the dealers part system was wrong. All the parts on google image search are for the explorer. I wouldn’t be the one to find out.

Does anyone know the forscan code to activate the trail control. I installed the correct buttons, but it does not work.

I'd see if someone would send you the as-built for their FX4 so you can compare it to yours. I'd send mine, but I'm sure someone else has it at the ready. If not, I'll get it later today.

My dad wants to enable the trail control system on his Lariat Sport with locker, so I have a vested interest in you succeeding :)
