Ordered up the parts just now to make this happen. Adapter for laptop should be in by the weekend or early next week. The switch parts are only about an hour away. Debating whether to have them shipped or make a road trip. Will buy the FORScan license once the parts get here.

Looking forward to this. Thanks to all who have sorted this out. Terrain Management will be great and hopefully the Trail Control can get sorted out as well. :like:

Is it possible that this is in the ABS module, and controlled by the Hill Decent codes?

EDIT:Removed the link to the F150 switch. Buy the ranger switch with part number posted earlier in thread.

If you have 0 for asterisk make it 2, if 4 make it 6, if 8 make A, if C make E, if 1 make it a 3

Here is what mine looks like. Seems to fit the 2018-2019 line.
I have an FX4

I have a non FX4 XLT and mine looks like:

760-03-01
000570

So maybe its as simple as changing that 5 to a 7 and the 0 to a 2 in the other filed for us non FX4 folks?

I like your odds.

I’d try with just the 7 and see what happens.

I replaced both buttons tonight, it was not to hard once I figured out that the top part of the console that the buttons sit on just pops up. I have not changed the software yet that will be next. I look forward to hear from others how testing goes.

It has something to do with cruise control because it works at slow speeds.

I'm a bit confused on the switch change. The switch in your post looks like this:

But the switch arrangement in my non-FX4 4x4 Lariat looks like this:

Seems like there would be 6 total switches if I had ordered the FX4 version

The switch in your post doesn't look like it'll fit properly and it also looks like I'd have to remove two switches to install it - and that means losing something (possibly the Parking Aid switch).

It seems like there should be a 3 gang switch assembly that would replace the two functions in the top row along with adding a Trail Cruise button.

The switch I bought has 3 buttons. TC/AutoStart-Stop/Rear diff lock

sweet, so assume you did the TC switch and TM switch/knob. Looking at the hill descent it sounds like the prelim version of TC. Look forward to hearing your results. I am only thinking I want the TM but if the TC works, why not.

Thanks!! That looks exactly like what I would need/want....

Is that the same part as Michael posted in Post 18?
