I watched it yesterday... then watched it again now.

Did you watch it? He never steps out of the bed.

Kind of like a bear club climbing a pine tree... up is easy.

The thing I wanted to see is if you can see the step when you're in the bed climbing down and if it's difficult.

Pvsaint hooked me up though with a great video.....

Awesome..... Well done Sir ! Yep... easy enough. Thanks.
Run it in reverse.
Best I could do.
Not all of us have a film crew like Pvsaint!

Installed mine today, took about an hour: mostly going back to the toolbox for various extensions (you guys were right - there's not much room to work under there!)

I'm 74, with a knee that gets cranky once in a while; so I needed a little help getting into the bed.
Ya, I know, it's $260 to replace my milk crate.
But, I don't have to carry around my milk crate now.
And the missus likes it --- enough said, eh?

Convert that to Canadian Pesos and it's even more frightening to me. Importing one is out of the question. I have to wait until someone up here imports a bunch to drive the cost down.

I bought my Bestop Trekstep rear mount step #75317-15 from 4wheelparts.com with a discount. Some say this is not necessary but it depends on the individual. I am short and SSA age. It allowed me to get rid of the two step plastic step i kept in the bed.

My add-ons are:
  • Magnaflow exhaust
  • ROUSH CAI (no tuning, i want to continue to use regular gas)
  • Chrome door sill protectors
  • SS Ranger tailgate lettering
  • WetherTech floor mats
  • Stubby 2" antenna
  • Rapter Grill
  • Lower Grill Insert (fabricated)
  • Bed mat
  • Tailgate Damper
  • Rear mount step
  • Go Rino, tow hitch step (the day after i installed it I was sitting in my car in the parking lot and someone hit it; twice while they were pulling in behind me)
  • Hood deflector
Here are some picks

Waiting on UPS, tracking says it is out for delivery. Looking forward to not needing the little step ladder i had to carry before. Ordered mine from Amazon, Used scrip and Amazon Smiles so my church school gets a kick back. Bestop had them on back order.

Bummed and pissed at UPS!? The UPS driver evidently stop at my house and said I wasn't home so he couldn't leave the package because it required a signature. Now they are going to drop the package at a pickup center ( a local CVS). I will need to go pick it up tomorrow.

I have been home all day! Probably on this forum. The drive must not have tried too hard to find me or try the door bell more than once. What if I had been out back, it is summer after all. Well I guess technically still spring for a few more days. Gave UPS a bad feedback review, only feel slightly better.

Maybe they have issues in the area or something. I haven't had to sign a signature required package since the coronavirus mess started...a month ago the ups guy left $10k+ worth of stuff on the porch and the signature block said "COVID 19". (I heard him dropping it and went out right away, he waved as he walked off.)

I work for the USPS an deliver mail. During this Covid 19 thing you don't have to sign but have to tell us you accept the package an we print your name in. I know there's carriers that don't always go to the door....it's usually when you're running late an you don't feel like getting B!TCH#@ at for going into overtime.

I had a certified letter for a guy...went to his door an knocked a few times an rang the bell. He never came to the door. I heard a lawn mower so I looked around the back of the house to see if it was him an it wasn't. Turns out the guy was a morning DJ on the radio an he was on their air saying I never went to the door an that all mail carriers are lazy!

Got my Trek Step installed! Worst part of install was getting bed bolt loose and then getting started again with the bracket in place. Like has been mentioned not much room under there. Took maybe 2 hrs by myself. works great and even the wife approves. She says it's better than climbing on the cooler to get into the bed.

Now to get the camper out of storage and de-winterized. Time for a campfire and a lemonade. Just had a liver transplant in March, so no beer. :frown:
