Sync update?

I have a company car so truck is mostly pleasure and tow my boat to go fishing on the weekends so no XM. I do now and then use the nav and never had an issue with it.

If you have factory nav then you get a 5 year subscription to Sirius XM Travel Link (not to be confused with Sirius XM radio).

Is there any reason not to do the sync update?

My Sync3 was locking up randomly - couldn't reproduce it on purpose, but fairly often (a couple times a week) the display would just freeze - or totally black out.

I did the update, downloading it onto a thumb drive, and it resolved those issues.
