Sync update issue?

Tried the USB update a couple of months ago, and no luck. Tried WiFi too, that said "It's up to date". Now I thought I’d try again on WiFi and this comes up. I scanned for update and this pops up again. Tried a few other times well in range of WiFi no luck. (XL/STX with a 101a package.)

I was having a similar problem a few days ago updating my 19 Ranger. I tried updating via WiFi with no luck and then by USB and nothing. I went to help.ford,com for help. This help site provides great informtion. The tech support rep I spoke with was an ace.

I learned that I should use a clean usb 8 gig thumb drive formatted to exfat. I downloaded the zip file, extracted the files, and Bob’s your uncle! After a couple of hours my Ranger was updated.

Have never been able to update successfully with Wifi so I use a Flash Drive. FordPass is supposed to inform of new updates, but I never got them so have to check online for them. I updated to 3.4.21194 (latest version) last month with a flash drive and it has worked well so far.
