Switched from SPD to AWE

Hey guys, as the title states, I switched up my exhaust system. Before running stock, I went ahead and ran the full SPD setup, which included a DP and axle dump exhaust. While I loved the noise and performance of the SPD setup, it was a bit of overkill for daily driving. I drive a lot of miles for work in SoCal, and the exhaust drone began to wear on me. Luckily, I was able to chat with AWE about their exhaust.

All I can say is WOW, this thing is perfect. It is the perfect setup in between stock and race. The AWE does not have any dreaded drone while driving around, but it has a nice throatier tone, over stock. My gf no longer complains about the noise and vibrations occurred from the SPD DP and Axle dump exhaust.

The fitment of this setup is also perfect. There was no trimming or modifying needed. simple bolt on application.

I would 100% recommend the AWE Ford Ranger exhaust for anyone. It gives you the added performance and looks, without sacrificing ease of driving. I will upload a video later tonight! Feel free to ask me any questions.

PS the AWE customer service team is incredible.

Sorry, I have been slacking on getting the audio!! My truck is in the shop getting some work done, and I am hoping to have it back at the end of the week. I will try and have the shop get a clip for me of the start up and revs.

I run the AWE on my truck its a nice setup, sounded good on the Raptor my brother had so I tried it out and so far its enjoyable and even the lady doesn't notice it.

A cat back exhaust will only void warranty on the parts it is replacing. Obviously Ford will not cover aftermarket parts and they still have to prove that the cat back exhaust caused the failure on the engine..... Mind you I have never seen a cat back exhaust cause engine failure what so ever

Totally makes sense Ford would not warrant an aftermarket part but I've seen warranties that have wording similar to "any modifications" will void the warranty.

Yeah there is a wonderful law call the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. It simply states that the manufacturer has to prove that the aftermarket part caused the failure. So if I put a Cat-Back exhaust on my truck and all of sudden the AC fail oh, I'm really going to want a good explanation as to why my cat back exhaust caused the AC to fail.
