Which is so crazy for a 1k markup....There are two dealer ordered '23's within 100 miles of me. Same 11/10 blend date for both. One is AGM. Seems like the dealers are expecting AGM to be a popular color.

Yeah, just ask for a 10 year loan, with 48.0% interest....Yep! First baby! I need a vehicle compatible with infant car seats! My 2dr JK just won't do! And, I don't my baby in the ole rust-box XJ.
We have a CRV as well, but it's my wife's daily, and she's in the office every day, so I won't have a baby-compatible vehicle once her maternity leave is over.
I would have liked a 6 ft bed, but wasn't available with crew cab. Then I figured, hell 5.5 vs 5ft bed, whats the difference, I'll take the trailer for the long stuff.
I do have to do a lot of farm stuff on the Ranger, which is why I wanted in the first place, BUT, if I can't get it in time, or financing goes to hell since the fed raised rates again, then I'll have to get something cheaper, which probably means get the Bolt after the subsidies kick in and purchase/build an older truck. Who knows? I'll figure it out when the time comes.

Sounds like a plan! I love paying 10x what something is worth! When was your order? (yes I remember reading it before....)Sounds like a plan! I love paying 10x what something is worth!
I should be locked in for the rates through Ford at time of order, so 2.9 for60 and 1.9 for 36
Sept 18th was my order. I gotta call the dealer and get the exact ratesWhen was your order? (yes I remember reading it before....)
I didn't think of that... I just looked at Toyota today and their best rate is like 9%....
Yep, and Tim Bartz explains in one of his videos how price protection and incentive protection can both be done for what it was at time of order.Sounds like a plan! I love paying 10x what something is worth!

That reads like most of our experiences, so far.
If I get my truck within 6 months of ordering I'll be happy, within 9vmontha I won't be upset... Any longer and I'll be a grumpy bear. But I would also be a very happy camper if I got my truck when they scheduled it to be built, ie within 3 months. Lol
When I ordered my 2023 Super Cab XLT 2wd High Package the dealer told me their best guess was 6 to 9 months. I knew that when I wrote the deposit check , but it is going to be a long 6 to 9 months !That reads like most of our experiences, so far.

I wonder why the window sticker is available for dealer orders, but not for retail orders, when it seems these dealer orders will be built the week of 11/14.Not mine - but it appears to be the only 23 ranger in 500 miles...

I'm going to call them and see if they had a build date already.
Shrug.I wonder why the window sticker is available for dealer orders, but not for retail orders, when it seems these dealer orders will be built the week of 11/14.
Interesting. I looked at half a dozen and they all said not for sale.Shrug.
If you use a Michigan zip code you'll find a bunch of trucks with a September blend date that are marked not for sale...
Wonder if the dealer orders window stickers provide hints as to what's being built.... I can't remember if any of the none dealer orders were customer orders, or all marked not for sale...
Ie, they were being used for crash testing or something.
