Outskirts of Denver... Really, we're looking for a good school district for our daughter and we'll figure it out from there...

Our house down here is worth 2x what we paid for it, and that's still ~2/3rds what a house out there will cost us... And if we try for one of the well rated school districts, we're in the 750k+ range (out of our price range)

Where are you out there? (edit:I see Denver, any particular area of Denver?)

Which Jackson, Mississippi?
Not a bad move to cash in that appreciation. And you can't beat the access to nature and all things outdoors in Denver.

I live in Denver County, a neighborhood called Barnum. It's a pretty central location. However, if school districts are a big factor, I would highly recommend you look in the Jefferson County (JeffCo) area. Denver Public Schools (DPS), is not as highly regarded as JeffCo schools. I don't have kids, but my girlfriend is an educator at a JeffCo school and the admin and teachers there seem to be solid. She was previously at Aurora Public Schools, and wow, that was a nightmare for her. Jefferson County is a pretty expansive county. I'd suggest looking at the Wheat Ridge neighborhood if good schools and location are important. Plus lots of things to do in that area as well in terms of parks, food, and drink. Good luck!

Also, Jackson, WY. Got a ski trip at Jackson Hole.

I want mine ready to pick up at the dealership right after Ford puts out a $2000 rebate on all new ranger purchases.
Hope you get that!

Ohh, that's much better than Mississippi...

I will look into that appreciate the insight. We just nailed down where we want to move a few weeks ago, now we have until next summer to move, we want the kid to start middle school in our new home....

9ne of the biggest draws for us to move to Colorado is the ability to get outdoors within a reasonable time. Down here in South florida it is miserable hot 11 months out of the year, and the mosquitoes, black flies and no seeums will war you alive 24/7/365...

Ohh, and I just want to live somewhere that's not a political extreme.... I'd live to live in northern California, but couldn't deal with the taxes and politics... LOL

If mine comes in before 1/1 I'll sell it to you, low low price of 72k.

Yeah, flip it. Flip it good.
Now flip it
Into shape
Shape it up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it
It's not too late
To flip it
Flip it good.

Ha! Sure is.

We've been having some excruciatingly hot summer months in Denver, like the high 90s from Springtime until just a few weeks ago. But no humidity and annoying flying insects though, lol. And that's totally fair on politics. It's pretty mild-mannered here, which is refreshing.

I have a buddy who lives in Parker, he always jokes its a frozen hell and to stay away... It sounds like heaven. LOL

I just gotta convince the GF, we don't want to live in the city... LOL
