Ford sends out scheduling on Thursday. No Ranger scheduling this week![]()
BlueOvalForums posts Ford's weekly scheduling plan, and no Ranger were planned to be scheduled. Maybe We'll get lucky!Ford sends out scheduling on Thursday.
Sweet! Well, I'll continue to hold my breath and spam refreshI got my build week, on a week that the Ford schedule said no ranger builds were scheduled...

Where can we see the Ford schedule that you are referring to? Thanks.I got my build week, on a week that the Ford schedule said no ranger builds were scheduled...

It's difficult to find, to say the least. It's a bad infographic that generally just says "no scheduling this week" for every model. I'm not sure how accurate it is.Where can we see the Ford schedule that you are referring to? Thanks.
I haven't thought much about your #1, but it is a valid point... Your #2, though, has been my gut thought. Perhaps they're taking a more realistic approach to scheduling production dates that will give them cushion when it comes to any delays. Or they're hoping to surprise and delight rather than frustrate and annoy, lol. It's difficult to find, to say the least. However, I do find it a little... interesting, that so far we've basically had 2 scheduling weeks for the Ranger and the two production weeks that we've seen are 10/17 and 11/14. That makes me think that they're either:
1. Scheduling a week per month on the Ranger due to lesser demand, sharing production lines with more popular vehicles, or even just trying to get the lines ready for a 2024 surge.
2. Scheduling a week per month on the Ranger to account for delays. (eg. If you have a 10/17 build date then it'll be built between 10/17 and 11/14. If you have an 11/14 build date it'll be built between 11/14 and 12/12.) If this is the case, I expect more Rangers won't be scheduled until October 13th or so.
That's a lot of guessing based on just 2 data points though.
I have a 10/19 build date and I have not received any new information from Ford regarding a delay to the week of 10/31, yet. Thanks for pointing me to the Schedule. Unless I missed it, this is the only entry I see for the '23 Ranger. I'm confused because it doesn't show the 10/17 Production Week. The earliest week seems to be 10/31. Does this mean the 10/17 group has been rescheduled?

I agree with your #1 point. I can tell you when I ordered my ranger the last day of august the dealership I went to had ZERO orders for rangers at that point. I recently spoke to the rep Im working with and he told me his best guesses, again they are guesses, is that with Ford releasing the decision not to bring the redesign in until 2024, then some folks may be holding off, and also, the Maverick is the hot button topic of this year. He also said folks are waiting for the lightning, and some are even going to the bronco. It may be a good thing for us waiting for rangers, since the demand may be lower. I wouldn't say low, but lower. It's difficult to find, to say the least. It's a bad infographic that generally just says "no scheduling this week" for every model. I'm not sure how accurate it is.

If you’ve been scheduled you no longer need to pay attention the the production schedule. It is for unscheduled orders only. Any changes in your production date will be emailed to you ( if you’re lucky)Thanks for pointing me to the Schedule. Unless I missed it, this is the only entry I see for the '23 Ranger. Yeah, at this point I feel really bad for people who ordered 2022's just to have them built on the final few weeks of production. They're getting 2022's, so if they ever want to resell them, they'll lose a few nickels because their trucks were built October 7th instead of October 17th. That's rough! It be interesting to know how many are still waiting for their 2022. It's like Ford has less than one month left before they should start on the 2023's.
This, but then again they’d come across as really low mileage drivers ?Yeah, at this point I feel really bad for people who ordered 2022's just to have them built on the final few weeks of production.
