Total Noob thread jacker question here....and it might even be in this thread somewhere. Does the 10 speakers B+O system have a small sub/amp? Is that what I am seeing behind my rear seat? If so is there power and a remote there to run an after market small amp using factory stuff or am I stuck running wires back from front?

Yes there's a sub, that's all I know as it's the big win of the Lariats. Not sure on your other questions. I'll let others jump in

Yes, the DSP (Amp) is powered by 2 fuses - I believe 1 fuse for each (side) L&R, and it does have a remote (Turn-On) to power up the AMP.
I have not ventured deep into this yet as it is something I am considering (Upgrade) the B&O system.
There are numerous threads on what others have done, but the majority of them are for (Non-B&O) and adding the Amp & Sub.

For me the sound is OK, but the SUB does lack the Deep Bass.

Exactly. I like the system. But in the future if I can just easily pop in a small digital amp and JL box under the seat without alot of wire running I definitely will.

I followed other threads and added the amp and sub. I had to run a power through the firewall and run a remote directly from the fusebox using a fuse tap, but it was all pretty simple. I opted for Skar enclosure for now with the Kicker CXA800.1 mono amp. I did learn that I needed the bass controller knob as it overpowered the rest of the system without it. I also used the Plug n Play wiring adapter. I am working on tidying up the wire routing a bit more, but it tucked in nicely.

Just curious is the factory sub still tied in the system and now running 2 subs (separate) amps or is the B&O out of the system now?
Which thread did you use for the install?

Sorry but with so many varied options for upgrades, just curious as I have pondered upgrading my B&O as well. Mainly the weak sub

Great question. I used a couple for threads. This one is where I got the most from:

https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/kicker-sub-install-tutorial.7985/

I also used this thread:

https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/lariat-b-o-subwoofer-install.27183/

As for the factory B&O, I did keep it in play. I decided that if I wanted to return it to stock, it was a quick job since the Plug n Play kit pigtails into the factory amp harness only for line level inputs; otherwise, it is powered separately. I will admit it did limit my amp location options but ok with the location of it.

Good luck and keep us posted if you do it!

Started getting intrusive thoughts about building a system a month ago. Now it's a reality! Stock Sync3 to JLFix 82 in the dash using optical output to a JL VX700.5 which powers a 10TW2 stealthbox and 6.5" Focal KX2E components using active crossovers. 32 sq/ft of dampening mat added to the doors, rear wall and floor. Only thing visible is the DRC205 dual knob by the shifter. Install shop put a basic tune on it to get it flat and out the door but I think there's still a lot left on the table for a proper tune. They wouldn't touch forscan ?

Beautiful setup!! Looks like a very clean install. Any issues since the install with auto start stop, door chimes, etc? I had to tweak a few of those after install. Also, how do you mean there's more left on the table via forscan? Not sure I understand that part. My build is nearly identical and the shop that installed it cranked it up to what it could handle... if you're saying there's more to be had I'm all ears... ?

Thank you, I put a decent amount of thought into the design and the shop did a great job of executing on it. Only issue so far is that the rear prox beeps come from the dash speaker now as I'm not using the rear door speakers. As far as the forscan stuff I was wanting to change the output of the sync head to line level to keep it from clipping and kill the fake engine noise. Once I get that done I'll re-run the fix82 calibration sequence then get a proper RTA tune done. It's the last bit of tuning that I think will really make it shine.
