Subwoofer Speaker Signal??

For a number of days now I have been trying to find the correct wires for connecting a subwoofer. My amp and LOC are all in working condition, and wired together correctly according to the manufacturer, yet when I tap into the wires for sound I do not get any sound. What wires have all of y'all tapped into?

Is this the right thing? I'm so confused lol
