Beautiful setup!! Looks like a very clean install. Any issues since the install with auto start stop, door chimes, etc? I had to tweak a few of those after install. Also, how do you mean there's more left on the table via forscan? Not sure I understand that part. My build is nearly identical and...
This looks fantastic!! Nice job offsetting the sub into the box. Did you do all the wiring yourself? The sound settings on the head unit help a lot, adjusting treble, bass, mids to find the best sound for each song but I know what you're talking about, some songs sound great and some the bass is...
Butting in here - Recently did mine off of Tcour's design, and got up to a 10". As for the seat clearance, you'd need to offset it into the MDF in a perfect world. I have Katzkin covers on my seats so I was able to peel them back and bend some of the thin framing pieces away from the box to give...
Anyone with a Rapid Red truck found a close vinyl wrap match to the paint? I've had black aftermarket flares for a couple years and randomly thinking about wrapping them since I've got some experience with it. Just something to change the look or class it up.
Post the link if you could!

Sub installed and power to the amps! Sounds AWESOME!!! I had a local shop do it and they did a great job. Aside from it sounding amazing, there's a couple quirks. Auto start stop never worked before, now it works every time. $5 night light fix for the solve, so no biggy there. And possibly a win...
I found an easier fix... $5 night light in the 120 volt outlet in the back. Auto start stop disabled! Credit to some other threads on Ranger5G! Works like a charm
Today I fit the lid, wrapped in carpet and lined the inside of the box and underside of the lid with deadening mat and closed cell foam. Stealthbox who??
Tomorrow I'll do the simple wiring, screw in the sub to the lid, and attach the top/bottom to each other as well as attach into the truck...
Thanks so much! Have appreciated your inspiration on this! Been a fun one to work on. I had a thought back to your commentary on the auto start stop turning off your stereo. Ever thought of getting one of these? Would solve that issue at least...
Update for the sub box:
I ordered the sub that goes in the stealthbox, and verified the volume of the storage bin is a match. Bin is .4 cubic feet and the JL sub works with .35 cubic feet which makes sense given the stealthbox fits into the storage space.
I wanted to firm up the bin before...
Good point. This is the little shallow mount that they use in the Stealth and the one that I grabbed.

It has a mesh guard up top that I'm hoping protects the face of the sub, but I'll consider spacers as well. Given...
Great stuff. Going to get a few parts ordered at the very least to build my box, then depending how ballsy I'm feeling we'll see if I end up wanting to give it a try for myself. I'll keep the thread updated!
So far I'm going with the 10" JL sub that they put in the Stealthbox a la carte bc it's...
This is a fantastic write up and actually motivates me to want to do this install myself... you brought up something interesting, which is routing amp power to the door speakers. I've got aftermarket's speakers now but I've both experienced and heard that the factory output to aftermarket...
This is awesome, how have I not thought to just use the bin that came with the truck? Did you end up bringing it to a shop to install? That's the part that scares me. What was your total cost?
