My former next door neighbor's first ex wife's co-worker's beautician's husband
channeled this in a seance. Dates are different than an older version I've seen:
It would be nice if true. Seeing them built next May would be awesome and getting on the list right away might get me one by 2029? ?‍♂

I put a throw pillow between the seat and seat back and that fixed it for me.
I've tried various things, so far Seat jackers did the most.

Looking for a seat cushion that's thin enough not to push me forward, but sustain some impacts from potholes.

Though when sitting in my passenger side, the seat cushion is softer and leads me to believe I do really have a "defective" seat..

Seats really ruining my back but otherwise love my ranger as well.
I also have a bad back and find the Ranger seats oK, not really good but Ok
I have been looking for a new vehicle to replace my 2012 Focus. The hardest part is finding a comfortable seat. After test driving some of them, my back hurt the rest of the day
The Lexus seats are incredible, just don't want to spend $65000

My driver side seat is softer and more comfortable then the passenger seat. My wife noticed it right away the first time I let her drive it.

Modern seats are junk unless you blow $70k and up on it.

Guess whoever makes these seats don't really care about being consistent.

Part of the firmer driver's seat may be due to the passenger seat having no air bladder lumbar mechanism.

I'm wondering that too. I also noticed I can feel a weird "bump" on my left side... wonder if the bladder is partially filled on one side.

In any case, I plan to pull the seat out next summer and pull off the fabric so see if I can modify anything. Or try to snag a seta from a 2019 since the first year models seemed to have softer seats based on my test drives.

Yeah, most of them feel like you are sitting on a rock. For people with bad backs, all these seats put pressure points on different locations on the back, and usually in the wrong place. Yet these dealers always tell me no one else has ever complained, I say "yeah right"....

I bought the seat jackers but have not installed as of yet, I cannot fully determine if it's the firmness of the cushion or the angle of the seat bottom itself, I have not yet ridden in the passenger seat. Wife has stated that the seat (passenger) is uncomfortable though.
The odd thing is that when I get in the driver's seat it feels comfortable and then the next time, I drive it feels like the seat bottom (front edge) has moved up and my right thigh (with FOB in pocket) pinches off circulation. It appears that placement of you (Butt) makes a difference.
Fully against back of seat or slightly forward of it
I am thinking the issue lies on the firmness of the seat itself, for me anyways.
There is a thread on the site, were someone placed a exercise mat under the seat cover and that helped. I might try that

Oh good, thought I was the only one that noticed this.

Love mine too! Husband keeps talking about getting me the new model when it comes out. How dare he?!!! I’m keeping this one until it just won’t go anymore. Nothing against the newer ones, I just love mine.:inlove:

Yesterday, I was outside near the Ranger and a guy in a good-looking, new Frontier drove by real slow, honked, & waved. I think he was appreciating ‘Ol Butterscotch.:)

 With a suggestion like that, it might be time to start thinking about trading in the husband.:ninja:?

Ok, I'll go ahead and admit it... I don't even have my new truck yet and I love it!

:like: Well, it's the truth.
Hooray, that's how I was too at the start of this year, just excited and looking forward to what has been a great truck. No buyer's remorse and it's lived up to all my expectations (well, after I installed the damper, of course).

I'm rooting for you to get it as soon as possible. =)
