Hey All
Unfortunately the more I drive this thing, the less I like it. Have brought into ford a couple of times as I keep experiencing the same issue (Ford cannot replicate Unfortunately).
I step on the gas AND THE TRUCK DOES NOT MOVE! at all
this has happened a few times, is corrected by getting off the accelerator and then back on. I suspect this is transmission related, ford keeps telling me "that's how they all are". My folks 20yr old minivan shifts better.
The dealer also had to fix two critical bolts holding the front bumper on as there was a loud squeak each time a door was closed. Apparently they were "like that from the factory".
I also all.of a sudden have a loud squeak/squeal intermittent while driving...thought it was fan belt but does not seem to be isolated to just when the fan is on.
Why is a brand new truck (17k km's) that has been babied squealing like 2003 dodge neon!?
My 16 Focus ST was the best car I've owned but this Ranger is feeling more and more like a lemon.
Thoughts/Please someone convince me to keep it...I really do want to love truck but she isn't. making it easy
