Hey,

No one here, I hope criticizes you move from Tier 1 to Tier 3... That is your decision...

Phil
Tier 3? I think he fell right off the podium, no?

Oops, I think I just criticized his decision - my bad. ?
Party poopers! Lol. I get it though. Glad your Rangers are serving you well. I got rid of mine solely for quality and build issues otherwise it would have been my "next 10 years truck". Hopefully Giuseppe and Frank built this Fiat err Jeep with at least one eye open.

Traded the Ranger (for more than I paid, thanks supply chain disruptions) and bought America's classic off-roader, or wait I've come to understand it's actually Italian. Wait, this just in, it's may actually be French! ? Huhh Huhh Huhh huhhhhh oui oui escargot Giuseppe.

Anyways, it's a pretty basic Sport S. 3 options boxes checked and kept the manual trans which comes standard. I think a lot of folks think these things are ugly but I couldn't be happier to be back in a manual and in a convertible pickup truck. More of a lifestyle vehicle than anything else but whilst young and yet to have kids, I felt it was the right time. Going to be conservative with lift and wheels and I've gotta buy a Dremel to cut those ugly air dams off the bumper but here's a pic of the new clunker:

I love the olive green color. I think these are very odd .. but that’s just my sight. I’ve never sat in them or drove them .. but not gonna lie, wouldn’t mind trying it. Just don’t think I could part from my baby .. it would have to be the 2022 Raptor Bronco for me to give up the kid lol.

But the color .. honestly one of my favorite of all ever colors ?

Congrats on the purchase.

MORE PICS!!!

Nice Jeep, enjoy.
Check glove compartment...should be a jar of spaghetti sauce and a pack of spaghetti.
Owners manual has a section on how to use...:giggle:
Big disruption on Roma tomatoes in the motherland, now comes replete with TWO cans of Chef Boyardee. Lol.
I think they look nice lifted with a bit bigger tires, the proportions are better.
Nothing against Jeeps, I got clean 97 Wrangler for my daughter a while ago, but they seem to cost a lot of money for what you get.
Agreed, I've given all these sport jeeps a colloquialism, Barbie Jeep, due the how small they tires look. Those are actually 32s on there. 33s look good in person, 35s are great for the Sports. Not sure if I'll do 33s or 35s yet. Absolutely not doing 37s although it does look cool.

With many blown up 2.7 motors, electrical problems and a front suspension that looks like it's doing the chicken dance I take it the Bronco would be what...... Tier 4?

One thing I'll say about the Jeep is their body panels are MUCH better than my Ranger. I've been over every square inch of it and everything fits nice and tight and they're so much thicker too. You don't get that "beer can effect" when washing it like you do with our truck. I can actually put pressure on it and not worry about needed body work done after I'm done washing it. As far as longevity I guess I'll have to wait and see but so far I'm pretty impressed with mine after hearing for years how bad they are. :D

Edit: Speaking of electrical issues. This ones 4WD decided to go dead while going up a snowy icy hill while off road. There are dozens more like this which could've been disastrous if the Jeep wasn't there to save the day. ?

keep us updated on the quality and build issues this one has.
I dont hear much about that, the usual topic is how hideous the thing is.
i'm liking the green though.
Ford hasnt offered the green much lately.
I'm sure I'll run into something, hopefully nothing major. Seems pretty stout initially.

Thanks ??. It drives like a solid axle jeep haha so not great. But it does have a lot less body roll than my Ranger. I only have a few pics

Until these are lifted on 37’s I think they look like the miniature dachshund of the truck world. Lol! Love the color! Get to building.
Agreed.

Unless you start with a Rubicon or Mojave, I call them a "rolling pocket protector"

Nice to see there are still some folks online who can handle some gentle ribbing. I hope you enjoy the new ride. ?

You should always get what suits your lifestyle and if this is it good luck with it! I got mine (Rubicon) the other day and really like it so far. But can't part with my Ranger as I like it to much and still need it for work. I do love having to freedom panels off now and will take the back off once it warms up some.

Once it warms up some?

It was -15 at 8am Thursday morning here. I think it's probably warm enough in AZ to take the back off ?

Not for me just yet. It's only in the upper 40's in the morning and 70 by 3:00pm. That's still to cold for me. ?

Thanks man. I think you'd be surprised at the handling as it's better than I thought it'd be but it's still not good and definitely handles like a truck. On-center steering is poor. Might get adjustable or slightly longer lower arms at some point. I've had it for 5 days so haven't really looked into that much. The Ranger has terrible shock tuning from the factory and could use a rear sway imo but you could definitely throw the ranger into a corner hard enough to activate ESC and it would have easily handled it without intervention. Not that I was late apexing my truck all the time. It's a 2022. I ordered it in October.

Oh I wear shorts year round here but it's a little to cold still to be topless. lol. The freedom panels have been off since day 1 and I added a Spiderweb Shade.
