Anyone install one? Did you do it the so called easy way by jut lifting the console plate? Quite tight under there. Did you have any trouble getting the wire disconnected and the lead from the eliminator plugged into the switch?

Thanks

Works perfectly. Little fiddling to get it plugged in, no issues since. Works great đź‘Ť

Same here. 20 minutes to install. Flawless ... Press the button to disable and forget it.

A $5 nightlight plugged into the 110v plugin on the rear of the center console does the same thing.
Sadly, my 2021 XLT doesn’t have the 110 outlet. I was going to go that route, but alas, I cannot. So I’ll just keep pushing the button and save myself the almost $90 (on sale) they want for this eliminator.

I just put an LED Nite Lite in the rear console 120 volt outlet. Has worked flawlessly for 5 years!

You can always add the jumper across the cable plug to turn off ASS. This method is free.

Dosen't the light distract you at night? Dos it turn off when the truck is not running?

I would think it is out of the way enough as long as it's not super bright. You could also use an old AC adaptor to an old useless phone charger or seomthing and cut off the cord. It draws just enough without a load to disable ASS.

Yes, the truck shuts off power to the outlet when the truck is off. Mines been plugged in for years with no issue. A night light is very dim, I don’t notice it.
