Anyone install one? Did you do it the so called easy way by jut lifting the console plate? Quite tight under there. Did you have any trouble getting the wire disconnected and the lead from the eliminator plugged into the switch?

I installed the Autostop Eliminator and it has worked perfect. I removed the center cover by the shift lever (just like the video showed) and it was tight, but I was able to make it work. It has worked flawlessly since I installed it, and I love not having to disable the Autostop like I used to.

Sadly, my 2021 XLT doesn’t have the 110 outlet. I was going to go that route, but alas, I cannot. So I’ll just keep pushing the button and save myself the almost $90 (on sale) they want for this eliminator.

I just put an LED Nite Lite in the rear console 120 volt outlet. Has worked flawlessly for 5 years!

Sadly, my 2021 XLT doesn’t have the 110 outlet. I was going to go that route, but alas, I cannot. So I’ll just keep pushing the button and save myself the almost $90 (on sale) they want for this eliminator.

You can always add the jumper across the cable plug to turn off ASS. This method is free.

I would think it is out of the way enough as long as it's not super bright. You could also use an old AC adaptor to an old useless phone charger or seomthing and cut off the cord. It draws just enough without a load to disable ASS.

Not much to explain, the truck senses the nominal power draw from the outlet and disables auto start/stop.

Yes, the truck shuts off power to the outlet when the truck is off. Mines been plugged in for years with no issue. A night light is very dim, I don’t notice it.
