SOLVED: Towed to dealer today - Battery died, Replaced Under Warranty

Why did you have to pay for it?

I didn't pay for it. As I said, it was "under warranty". The $260 on the paperwork was the charge to Ford I presume. I have no idea how much of that the dealership actually sees from Ford.

I don't think he did. He was just quoting the cost which was then covered by the warranty.
