So how hot is it where you are today?

106 today but the humidity is 68%. It's nasty out there and we're headed to an outdoor 4th of July party. Before monsoon season the humidity levels were only 12%-14% which is so much easier to deal with when it's dry.

Things change quickly here in the desert. It went from 109 and muggy to 72 and cool after thunderstorms rolled in at last nights party. Good thing they have a full covered patio as it was nice to sit out there with the cool rain coming down. Usually there a quick passing storm than it gets hot and muggy again. This one lingered on/off for over 4 hours and never put a damper on the party. ?

It'll be a high of 93 today. This evening should be comfortable. The illegal fireworks have been off the hook these past 5 years. We sit in our hot tub and watch the shows. People must be dumping some serious money. I was considering (not seriously) renting a 40' scissor lift to get a higher POV.

Wasn't that an AMAZING blast of cool?
We were at the Anthem, AZ 3rd of July Fireworks Display and it went crazy cool on us. Perfect weather.

Only downside was it doubled the size of the #TigerFire with all of the wind and pushed it closer.

Dry, dry, dry and up to 100. Just east in Colorado it's raining like crazy. Flash floods are causing mud slides on I-70 and closing down the inter-state. Got to go to Gypsum and will probably take Cottonwood pass to avoid I-70 in case of a mud slide.
