@AzScorpion thanks for at least telling me your experience so far. It's really something I'd like to do as the truck looks way meaner with the front end up a bit. And I really don't want to get into the can of worms replacing the entire front end with Thay suspension lift. So I'll keep looking for opinions on the topic.

The safest way to go would be to get new adjustable shocks. Of course it's going to be more costly but you less stress on other parts. IIRC Eibach, Fox and OME are adjustable but I'm sure @Frenchy will be along soon with his sales pitch and plenty of pictures. ? ? Hey, we need to keep our royalties coming in. lol

19,000 miles on my 2.5" leveling kit with Nitto Ridge Grapples 255/80/17 tires. Just over a 33" tire with zero issues and no rubbing. No suspension issues and I drive the truck rather hard with some 4x4 at the beach and deer lease.

@AzScorpion Do you have any idea if those leveling kits actually cause the front end components to wear out quicker? Or is that not a thing?

I wanted to get the RC simple leveling kit for my truck but a work mate was telling me they wear out your struts and control arms faster.
My take is that if it's 2.5" or less you shouldn't have any problems because the Ford Accessories level is about 2.5".
I had a 2.5"f/1.25"r strut spacer kit from Truxxx on the Sport Trac I owned before. No issues with the struts but the upper ball joints didn't last as long as normal, I'd get two years at most. Now you COULD get extended UCA's with a Uniball ball joint but they cost $650  a pair and I was told that Uniballs aren't a good thing in the salt belt where I live since the ball joint is exposed.
I plan on getting the BDS level for the Ranger. It uses upper and lower strut spacers which seems like a better thing. $160 including new rear shocks it looks like a good deal.

Guys I’m confused I just want to level level my 2019 fx4 a little i don’t understand all the offset talk I’m not going with bigger tires maybe just a mud terrain type tire there are so many options and opinions do I need anything special or will the simple 100$ 2” lifts be enough and will it affect my warranty
2.5” Rough Country level kit. $108 after tax online. About $200 to get it installed.
definitely how this truck is supposed to look.
I added the oracal 651 vinyl accent on the grill ($4) and painted the calipers myself ($30). Total mods cost $342. Completely changed the look of the truck. in my opinion the level is an absolute must.

You can do a 2" or 2.5" level which will give you what you're looking for. You will need to get an alignment after too. If your just replacing the tires and not the wheels there's nothing to worry about as far as offset. You can go up one size on the stock wheel and still have no issues. I have the RC 2.5" level with Nitto Ridge Grappler 265/70/17 and there's no rubbing.

Edit: As far as voiding your warranty short answer no. But If you have a front end issue and they can prove the level caused it they can void that portion of it, not the entire trucks warranty.

Did you have to remove any crash bars?
I want to run a narrower but bigger tire for my adventures in Colorado.

Ordered the RC 2.5 inch yesterday the local custom shop said 500 to put it on I think that’s a little steep for a couple spacers going to try and do myself has anyone done this / how difficult is it

Take into account a geometry adjustment. Maybe the shop will do it within the 500. Otherwise yes you can do the install yourself, it's not easy but not the hardest thing ever. The geometry correction procedure is a must and that's something that while not totally impossible, it's definitely not advisable to do yourself.

When you change suspension components, the geometry of the wheel changes. Although mechanically inclined as you may be, a proper job is done with optics (lasers). You could do one with a level meter and some strings, but if you mess it up, you will pay for not doing it right with your tires in the luckiest situation.
