Sure, but is it functional at all like keeping out water and reducing noise? Otherwise, it looks weird for nothing.

Intriguing but yeah I don't dig the shiny either. Looks like flat plasti -dip would be in it's future and some type of non-water-retaining sound deadener for the underside. I wonder if it comes with the studs or do you have to cobble that together on your own?

If Ford would just let it's contractors who made the original market the kit I'm sure they'd be happy.

Fiberglass burns real fast should there be a problem. I bet the Ford foam ones don't.

some foam burns fairly quick.
ALL fiberglass is just waitin to go poof in flames lol. first time i saw a FG ski boat burn i was shocked. I said oh no its got fuel in it. chief said no the fuel will not go the glass will be the problem. he was correct. nasty smoke too.

I remember that from somewhere and forgot what the cost or verdict was on it's function. Looks like it 'might' help with stopping water intrusion but doubtful there is any noise dampening around the fuel pump.

And check your hood side weather stripping for better external noise mitigation. My '22 didn't have them and it was pretty economical to add them.
