my truck has become more and more problematic with its transmission so ill be converting it back to stock and selling it off for a 23 civic si sedan. its been interesting in this forum thou.

so my eibach coilovers kit and method wheels and tires will be for sale soon. i can ship the suspension but the wheels i will not unless you reallllly want it done since i wont want to deal with it at all.

still got warranty yes but ford wont help ive already tried... even if they fixed it whats to say it wont happen again? its failing at 20k miles that doesnt show any good signs for this truck in the future....

The truck is finally home! And it sorta fits in my garage haha

well it was a fun adventure but my time as a ranger owner is over. i sold it last night due to its inability to be reliable and went back to a 2nd gen Tacoma. i might stay around or i might leave and disappear best of luck to you all and hopefully many adventures await all of you in your trucks unlike my truck lol.

ps. finally got an access cab! ive always wanted one so im super happy!

forgot my password over a year ago and focused on irl stuff so i left this forum in a way hopefully everone in this forum has been well! dont really plan to come back like i did when i owned a ranger just to check in once and awhile and see how everyone is still doing which hopefully is good! i no longer have the red tacoma we needed to move up in vehicle size so im back in a ford lol.

found a low mile 17 f150 2.7 ecoboost 1 owner so thats what i got now its a fun truck and me and the gf love it!

Haha I loved the Tacoma tbh but needed something to tow a camper plus the needs for a larger vehicle.


Wish I would have known that before I built the Tacoma up decently haha oh well!

It was a good looking little truck! Hit 110k miles and built it up how I wanted to but I noticed I was needing a bigger truck to tow so we got the f150. Funny enough we saw the f150 coming back from a car show on the bike and the gf asked if we could drive it haha.


After we bought the truck it was 2 weeks later I was doing a 500mile adventure bike run on my new dirtbike and the gf was going to drop me off in the truck and take it home so she could work the next day and pick me up after the event (not street legal Enduro) well not 45mins in after dropping me off she struck a deer and caused about 6500 bucks in damage haha but all fixed up and good now!

lol I'm just messing with ya! I just never liked my 2016 Tacoma but that was the 3rd Gen. The 2nd Gen was the best of them and had a really nice engine/transmission combo which they should've stuck with. That's what made the Tacoma so popular but they messed it up with the 3rd Gen and from the sounds of it the 4th isn't much better.

Truck was gone for about a month and opted to get good parts off totaled trucks to get it back faster. The deer even bent the frame horns! Was honestly shocked how much damage there was! Glad it wasn't totaled!

Wow it's amazing how much damage a deer can do but glad it wasn't any worse. Speaking of totaled I can't remember if you were around when I totaled my '19? It was a low speed (25 mph) accident which ended up causing a ton of damage the way she hit me.

Oh I know haha! Agreed the 3rd Gen just wasn't it! We looked at a few thinking of going to a newer one but we just never liked them! We thought about another ranger but I personally can't trust the 10r80 again... I agree they should have put a better engine in the truck instead of the 3.5...

Yaaa the 4th gen isn't doing so hot! It's ugly and personally I do not like it! We drove one looking at trucks with more capability and power. The interior sucks .. it feels so cheap!! The power felt like my old ranger but also awkward? So we passed plus so much money for a TRD off-road! ATM on the old tw a lot have had trans failure and a few motor failures already...


Life has been way better! Right around the time I went to Colorado in 23 I started talking to my now gf and moved her from Texas to Missouri! So we spend a load of time on my cruiser! So the bike you know about was my old Kawasaki supermoto I have sold that for a new 2023 klx300r Enduro bike for more off-road single track stuffs. The bike we ride now is my 2014 Yamaha bolt r-spec! Bought it with 4300 miles in late May and it's almost at 10k miles!

Ya it was wild! I'm glad she wasn't hurt! First time she drove the new truck and now she won't drive it haha! I had to drive my dirtbike 45mins in back country farm roads at 11pm to find her! Still remember when I was flying at full speed and got air over a hill as farmers were sitting around a combine looking up as I flew past landed and was gone lol.

I knew something was off with the bumper since it was tweaked but didn't expect the frame needing to be pulled!

I think I was? I remember seeing it but that might have been when I started focusing on the gf more and less on well anywhere haha. It's wild how much damage was caused by that!
