9mpg average
9mpg - man i thought mine was getting ugly when it got less than 20 on my last excursion. had to cover some of the empty parts of the panhandle so i may have exceeded the speed limit by about 20 mph for a hundred or so miles lol.

I gotta go out and find me a horse to beat
?I'm with you...to summarize...if you drive like a sane person:

1-2wd stock gets the highest MPG like 27+ level road
2-4wd stock gets the next best at around 22+ level road
3-leveled 4wd drops down to 20+- level road
4-leveled + poked + shiton lights + RTT + shovels + antennas sticking out everywhere + 500lbs camping gear + 285s + live in hill country gets me 16-17 city, 17-19 highway...and that's driving with an egg between foot and pedal...

I only get 20 on a stock 4wd. Do you think it's because my tranny is slipping ?.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Got my blue baby last February. (Just had her birthday on the 27th! ? ) Been tracking mileage with the Fuelly app since some time in July. So far, 45 fuel up records for a bit over 11K miles. Average of 21.6 mpg, high of 25.1 with a low of 16.3 mpg. All in all I have zero fuel mileage complaints with my Temor. Now granted, blue does improve mileage.

Edit: Forgot to add. All top tier 93 octane go juice. Vast majority has been Shell.

Ha, me too, but I'm at 14 mpg, it will creep up on long highway trips, it will get to 16 mpg, actually I do get better mileage when the wife is in the car, I need louder exhaust so I can't hear her grumble about my driving.

It doesn't help...
So true, even if it was uncorked

Which drives me crazy, 30 years ago she had no problem when the available traction of the tire contact patch was exceeded:explode:
